"To prepare for the launch of Express Entry in 2015, the Government of Canada began accepting applications under new caps for the Federal Skilled Workers Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program and Canadian Experience Class in May 2014. These measures helped to supplement the Canadian work force in areas where there were skills shortages, and helped to prevent backlogs and improve processing times. In 2016, the Government of Canada will complete processing of these applications, ensuring these economic immigrants can come to Canada and enter the Canadian labour market"

I emailed warsaw regarding my situation, still no reply from them. The 15 day period is ending this friday. If i submit my passport here and spouse's passport in india, they might just stamp mine and return my wife's passport without the visa and in which case they will close my file.snak56 said:received PPR today . they gave only 15 days to submit passport. Myself and my spouse are in 2 different countries hence not sure if we can submit them in our current country of residence, which would mean not submitting them together ?
Also it clearly means that my visa would be valid just till end of next month since they asked the passport so urgently. Not sure if i can land in canada in such a short space of time.
After all the hard work, and waiting for so long finally get the PPR with so many complications!!
What you said is correct I also wish they send my docs back. I sent them mail 1 month back but no reply till now. Don't know what step to take next.ABCD321 said:No momentum at all.... what they are doing ..... would be better if they reject and return my all the documents rather than waiting for MR.....
@ Shanlang, it was not a mistake. When did you have your medical examination?shanlang said:Today I received my Stamped Passport.
I'm PuZZLED by the Dates on the PR Visa as follows:
Date of Issue: 6th April 2016
Date of Expiry: 1st June 2016.
Now, i have only less than 2 months to close everything and go catch a flight to Canada. THIS IS NOT FAIR, isn't it ?
Is it possible that the Embassy made a mistake on the dates?
If anyone has faced this kind of situation, please let me know .... And Anyone ... please send your ADVICE ... it 'll be of great Help.
Truly Appreciate

Short landing is the term used when you land in Canada just to activate your PR status and stamping on COPR. You dont plan to stay there for longer duration initially. Once your PR status is activated the visa validity is out of question. Your PR card or Travel document will allow you to travel in Canada again as per your plan.andyCanadian said:What is shortlanding ? What is the rule here exactly?
Can you kindly comment ?
