Any insight on people like me, waiting since too long(TLU-26th May, 2015, and PCC and passport copy receipt as per GCMS on 15th June).

There were reports in the media that CIC would have to postpone most of BG checks until the refugees landed in Canada to meet the crazy deadlines the Libs set. But due to the nature of this screening, the truth will be kept secret from the public. It's pretty evident that there is no access to the police records in Syria now because there is a war going on there, so they likely take fingerprints, see if there is a trace in the databases they have shared access to and... that's it. Crazy stuff indeed.

There are quite a few cases of NDVO to WVO transfer cases who are waiting for PPR since long. May be you can throw some lights on whats going on. I have given my details here to give an idea.

My TLU was updated on 26th May and all the documents such as medical hardcopy, PCC, and new passport all pages were updated as received in system on 17th June.

I had ordered GCMS notes on 22-Oct-2015.

In Oct's GCMS notes my application assignment due date is 18-July-2015. Is this normal?

I am still waiting for PPR since than.

In month of Dec I had raised a CSE with the above said concern and got reply on 14-Dec-2015.
The reply is :

"Please be advised that your application is under background check review. Further requirements or final decision will be communicated to you in due time."

It almost two months to the above reply as well.

Can you help me to understand whats going on with my file?

Submitted wife's FBI PCC on 5 Oct, 2015..... Paid RPRF on 1 July, 2015

Since then waiting for PPR....I had aslo raised CSE on Jan 21 2016 and got reply after a week stating that my application is pending background Check review, that's so frustrating .....
Few of us do share May 2015 medicals time line .....so i am writing to let you guys know that i am also in the queue for the frustrating wait.....

Can you help me to understand whats going on with my file?that's a very tiny VO. They have only two CBO (Canada based officer), who are allowed to do security assessment. I imagine there is an enormous backlog, considering the fact that many NDVO applicants were transferred to Warsaw. Moreover, they are prioritizing EE applicants, because these files have a deadline unlike FSW. I would say that you can expect PPR before June 2016, but no guarantees

This office is not responsible for Middle East region, so I don't think those CBOs are doing checks on the refugees' files.

I have a query, I have done my first medical test in July 2015 and so I have to land before that date.

In case if I don't get VISA before July 2015, how will be the scenario, pl clarify.

Many people got PPR from Warsaw. But most of them original Warsaw applicant.
