FSWP2014 Applicants from India with files transferred to Warsaw visa office.

I'm a primary Warsaw applicant. Can you tell me whether Warsaw Visa Office does background checks on the application (completeness, truthfulness, misrepresentation) before medicals, and security checks (criminality, terrorism) after medicals?

I'm asking because I got MR (and I was asked to pay the right of PR fee), but haven't had any employer's chceck, any telephonic verification at my workplace. At least none that I know of. This seems quite strange to me.
I'm copying this question from another thread since there's not much movement in this forum recently.

Congrats for MR, yes they do conduct all background checks before medicals.. Verification is not for all .. they are satisfied with your file and issue you MR after that only .. Now there will be no verification

Thank you for clarifying that for me. There is so much conflicting information on the subject of background/security checks in this forum.

Engineering field in Canada is regulated. If you have already gotten your visa you should attend the Canadian orientation programs organised by the Canadian government. Its free of cost. You could try that to get correct and updated info on engineering field in Canada. But mostly it requires license before u can professionally work as an engineer

Since you are a diploma holder, you might be eligible to register as a Certified Technologist(CET, ASct,etc). Each province has different sets of rules laid out for registration.

Apologies as i was travelling and could not update.

Received PPR on 27th Nov from WVO. Submitted the PP to NDVO on 2nd Dec and got back stamped visa on 4th Dec.

I would like to thank forum members and hope that you get MRs/PPRs asap from warsaw visa office.
