The journey has ended, and it had to end with you guys here, as in the beginning, this forum was the place where I learned, and where I got to understand about the process so much.

Thanks to you all...

I received my PPR on 30th Nov 2015, after 14 months and 4 days since they received my application.
My passport was renewed this year in May, and I reported the same to them with my Medical results, and this I believe was my reason for delay.

I have submitted my passport at VFS Delhi (the location has changed to Shivaji Stadium from Nehru Place for VFS Delhi) yesterday and I expect to get the COPR and Stamped Passport back till Friday or max by Monday next.

Thanks once again.

- Vishal Rathi

And one more thing I would like to add for my Friends still in waiting...

'One thing I have learned about waiting is, 'It Ends'.

So till the time your wait ends, Keep Calm and Love Canada.

Hey World traveller 74,

Did u raise a CSE??

I did raise one through my attorney and got the response that my file is under background check review.

Hope this wait ends soon. Prayers for all.

Regards

No, Buddy, Haven't raised a CSE as I have noticed this trend on this forum that it seems normal for VO to issue PPR after 03 months of the last interaction with the VO(Give and take 05 - 10 days). My last documents were submitted on 22/09/2015. So, I guess I will wait till 22/12. Your last submission was on 10/09 I believe, so hopefully you should have your PPR close to the 10th of December.

I guess there's nothing else one can do expect wait and pray that this wait gets over soon like for others on this forum.

All the very best buddy, just hang in there and even we will be blessed with good news very soon.

Congrats Preet and best of luck for a new start !!

Generally, the processing time of warsaw is about 32 months. You may be thinking that if the files have been transferred to warsaw for faster processing than why no action on files have been taken as yet. I have observed that after sending case review mail to cic by some warsaw applicants, a reply from cic has surprised me that cic itself is accepting as 32 months But one thing is sure, the files over which warsaw is susceptible have been taken under subsection 16(1) which clearly specifies that background checks are required.

Background checks are done for everyone regardless. But section 16(1)c translates into deeper scrutiny or verification. Not all files are verified for authenticity . some files are randomly selected to keep sure that their system is OK as an integrity check of their system and for some deeper scrutiny is required whose the visa officer feels that the documents are doubtful. It's as simple as that.

Hello Everyone,

My name is Pavan and I signed up quite some time ago but have been inactive. My wife and I applied for FSW in December 2015

and got medical requests in May. We have been waiting for PPR since June and by god's grace, We have received passport

requests yesterday. I would like to take this moment to let everyone know who is waiting for their PPR to hold on. Surely

the wait is excruciating but if you have received medical request you will get PPR sooner or later so hang in there.

I also have a question for seniors. My wife is in canada at the moment. She is finishing her internship and can not come to

India for two months. I can not go to Canada as i do not have the visa. We have been asked to submit the passport within 30 days. How to go about from here. Do we have to submit the passport in different visa offices. Please advice.
