Congratulations for the successful completion of you application.

1) You may buy any tickets that you find cheaper. Its a matter of 25-30 hours. The Only important thing is that it flies and lands you safely in Canada. :D

2) My ticket is Ahmedabad->Mumbai->Paris->Toronto. From Mumbai onward, its Air France. You do not need to have transit visa because you are holding a valid PR visa of Canada. Please see following link:

http://www.airfrance.com/NG/en/local/page_flottante/hp/airport_transit_visa.htm

http://www.france-ng.com/Lagos/airport.html

3) Ticket prices vary wildly across booking agents. It is wise to contact 3-4 agents and also look for tickets by yourself online.

I visited skyscanner, yatra and makemytrip. Finally bought tickets from Yatra. Cost me Rs.34800 per person. 30 hours total time.

I doubt airline office will be able to provide competitive prices because they are not allowed to sell tickets below a certain price.

Thanks a lot Bluestone.

could you please guide me about the checked baggage allowance for various airlines?

Best Regards

Can anyone else confirm as my son going now is very important

I too believe that the Principal Applicant should land first. It can be alone or with other applicants.

I also read it here:

Here is the link.

http://www.yatra.com/baggage-allowance.html

It is informative. But you should check with airlines about the same. As a general rule, baggage is allowed as under:

Main Baggage: 23 kg x 2 per person
Cabin Baggage: 7-9 kg per person

Hi bluestone,

Is 12 months time for file mentioned anywhere ? It's been 114 days since MR, 92 days since TLU and 69 days since WVO received my last documents... When can I expect DM/PPR. Do I need to raise a CSE ? What should I mention in the CSE ?

Please advise.

Approximate processing time for NDVO applications is 11 months to be specific. Link is:

Manvar we are sharing almost same timeline. I think raising cse is nt much fruitful coz all those who did dis got d standard reply.they will not properly entertain us until d time limit of 12 mnths (processing time) is over.iam going to complete one year in a few days.
