3rd Dec 2014 - FLU
26th Jan 2015 - DD charged by CIC
20th Feb 2015 - PER
13th Mar 2015 - AOR email from WVO
April 30, 2015 - SLU
13th May 2015 - Email request from WVO for MR, RPRF, PCC with a deadline of 30 days
29th May 2015 - RPRF payment through CC for myself
1st Jun 2015 - RPRF payment through CC for spouse
3rd Jun 2015 - Medicals completed from our side
9th June 2015 - Medical doc + RPRF payment copies + PCC acknowledgements delivered at WVO
19th June 2015 - Original PCCs from the UK and India delivered at WVO
sometime post 20th Jun 2015 - TLU
6th July 2015 - Original PCCs from Germany delivered at WVO
14th July 2015 - Original PCC from Qatar delivered at WVO
22nd Aug 2015 - DM (no 4LU)

But my question is : Can i renew my daughter's passport after we get the visa stamped? In that case do wee need to tell VO ?

TLU: 4th Aug , 2015

Along with MR Mail , VO had asked for copies of passport with minimum 6 months validity.My daughter's passport is expiring in April 2016.(8 months from today - minimum 6 months validity of her passport would be mid Oct.)

1) Should we renew her passport now and update VO or should we wait for Visa Stamping & COPR.
2) For all those who have got their Visa stamped , what is the validity of Visa : 1 year from medical/TLU or till expiry date on your passport.


Yes....you need to renew your daughter's passport as you need to have at least 6 months validity at the time you leave India. Otherwise, from my understanding, the Indian authorities will not allow to leave the country...

My sons passport is expiring in august next year. I am planning to land next march. I am sending his current passport for stamping. But before going there should I need to renew his pp.i read somewere that during the last six months of pp duration one cant travel. Is it correct? If so can he travel on the new passport as the old passport will be attached with the new one. Will it be an issue at the time of landing. And for the ones who received copr does it contain passport details.

Hello Ahmed,
I would think you should not have any problem with travelling on the new passport, with the old one attached. What other options do you have? (1) To renew the passport before stamping and submit the new passport for stamping? That may delay your stamping, no? (2) Get stamp on old passport and travel on old passport. Renew passport after landing in Canada through Indian Consulate in Canada.

BTW, where are you sending your passports for stamping? Riyadh or NDVO?

With Gods grace , our FBI PCC report has been received by my cousin in US.(Application Date May 28)
Am planing to send from there directly to WVO , any suggestion guyz? Is it ok if my cousin sends the report directly to WVO with a lletr which am going to send them about all other details?
