Helloo,

Does anyone get any other message after the below update in the VFS site? Do we get any sms alert asking us to come and collect the pp's? Please respond.

Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office NEW DELHI, on 18/08/2015 to the Canada Visa Application Centre. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website.

Thank you so much!

When did you submit your passport at vfs new delhi ?

I do not know, bro, really.

It is mentioned in PPR mail that vo should be informed about:

"Change in marital status, for example due to marriage, divorce, annulment or death"

Now, as you have already received PPR, you have got 30 days to submit the passport. As you said, in "upcoming months", you are going to get married. Technically, there is no change in marital status till you actually get married. So there is no meaning in informing right now.

Talking about future,

Even in an information sheet that comes with Visa, it is mentioned that if your marital status is changed after issuance of visa and before leaving Canada, you have to inform VO AND Return Back your Visa. If you fail to do so, you will NEVER be able to sponsor that unexamined family member. Now this is a serious consequence.

Solution as per my opinion:

Option 1: If you are getting married in a month or two, you may write an email or raise CSE regarding the same so that PPR could be kept on hold for couple of months, I guess. Meanwhile, you may execute Court Marriage.

Option 2: Let everything be as it is. Get the visa. Land in Canada. Get PR Card. Then after some months, come to India for marriage and Sponsor your wife. It takes 6 months or so, I guess, in the process. This is safer option. VO never asks for information of Fiancee.

Now choice is yours. Remember, I am not an immigration lawyer. So, I highly recommend you discuss this with your consultant or a good immigration lawyer.

Dear bluestone,

Thanks a lot !!!!! :)

Thats solid advise there, my friend. If I were you, I would go with option 2 and sponsor my spouse after a year of my job so that I can demonstrate I have required income to sponsor a dependent.

I have seen cases of marriage getting rejected outright for people who tried adding a spouse at this stage. VO will as too many questions and you will put your application in total jeopardy.

Humble advice, do not getting married right now. Land and get your PR card and then consider getting married

All the best

Friends,

Congratulations to all who received PPR and DM today!

Also guys is there a online version of excel sheet that Jas-Gill has maintained on page 734. If yes, please pass the link. I assume there are 70 odd out of 225 in the list still waiting for PPR / DM / MR.

Hi guys...

Got DM updated in my ECA today.

Any MR so far???????????????????????????????

Hi, can anybody tell how much average time to reply for CSE. I had raised it yesterday as I got 490 CAD back to my credit card. Though I am 100% sure that it could be of my daughter's (below 18 then, now 18 +), but really worried as I am nearing 90 days from MR request. Please advise. Apart from raising CSE, is there anyway we can reach out to them.

Awaiting reply anxiously.

Regards,
DSP

Congratulations, when are you planning to fly

Dear Friends,

I had a query. I got my DM on 12-AUG but no PPR yet. So I wanted to raise a CSE. Now, All the communications of my PR goes to my consultant's mail since I had to mention their mail address in the application. So, if I have to raise a CSE via email, Can I send an email from my mail id instead of requesting my consultant to send it?

Thanks,
Karthik
