Hello everyone,

Just for the benefit of those who are yet to get PPR or are yet to submit their Passports to VFS, I will explain the process which I completed today -

I visited VFS - Mumbai office today. You can walk-in during the prescribed hours from Monday to Friday. We had carried the following:

1. Our original passports
2. Photos as per the instructions. Though our photographs had address and date handwritten by our photographer, we gave them the photo cover (envelope) too :P :P
3. Print out of the PPR email with the form duly filled out

The whole process was over in exactly 20 mins. We had to pay Rs. 579 per person. They have given us an acknowledgement reciept which has our tracking number. They asked me if I would like to collect my passport or have it delivered. I preferred to collect it myself, as I and my spouse are working and there would be no one to collect it. In fact, since I am planning to go out of town for a few weeks, they informed that I can authorize my parents or a friend to collect it provided they have an authorization letter from me and my spouse.

So, overall my experience was very good. Their staff was very professional and helpful.

Hope this helps ;D ;D

Today, I have also submitted my passport... :P

60 days from TLU today...but no PPR or DM....wake up Warsaw.... :(

What about the chances of finding rejection after medicals..now more than frustrated to think positively..

Dear author=adritth , please be patient.. as per I understand from ur previous posts ur last docs reached warsaw on July 5th.. Currently those who are getting DM/PPR have submitted all their docs/got TLU(latest of them) during 1st week of June..(Seen so far upto 10th of June). So let those who had submitted their docs earlier and waiting get it..you'll surely get it in another 3-4 weeks max..u might even get in two weeks as no. of applicants completed doc formalities in Jun are bit less compared to May...plz dont loose ur hope u'l get it for sure..almighty has a reason for each of the delays..

Devcan is absolutely right. now they are releasing Dm's n PPR's of Applicants who have MR on around May 15th & files reached by June 15th. So be patient, never lose hope coz its the only thing we have in our favour. Definitely if med is going fine You will be Stamped with the PR visa. Dont worry.

And Happy news... Received PPR mail today evening.
My DM was on 8th August evening.

So finally a sigh of relief...............

And sad but true fact was that i am presently working abroad & checking the forum in morning time (during ofc hours) is very difficult. By this month end i will be reaching INDIA & hopefully the forum may get 1 more active member.

Definitely for the Family we ought to be there.

Most of my doubts were cleared through the forum & I thankfully remember the kindness of both active & inactive members who has played their part knowingly or unknowingly.
Thank you for being there.
