What about the chances of finding rejection after medicals..now more than frustrated to think positively..

From what I have seen from this forum, the chances of rejection after Medicals is relatively less. So, don't lose hope and start preparing to move to Canada :) :) .

Bluestone you are absolutely right.

We will require each other more once we land in Canada.

There are 2 separate threads ( 1 by yours truly and 1 by v_i_r_u_s) started for settlers in Vancouver.

Good thought and we should take it forward.

+1 for this.

Yea I noticed this and that is why after every person who posts a DM/PPR status, I congratulate them and then ask them to try to stay active on the forum and help others out. We need each other. It is rather selfish to leech out information from the forum and then abandon it after the work is done. I think it is morally incorrect. ::) :-\

FORUMITES,

I HUMBLY REQUEST YOU ALL TO STAY ACTIVE IN THE FORUM AND HELP OTHERS WITH THE QUESTIONS THAT THEY MIGHT HAVE. PLEASE JUST DO NOT ABANDON THE FORUM AFTER YOU GET YOUR PPR. THIS IS A HUMBLE REQUEST TO EVERYONE :) . I REPEAT. PLEASE DO NOT ABANDON THE FORUM ONCE YOUR WORK IS OVER. KINDLY STAY.

Hello everyone,

Just for the benefit of those who are yet to get PPR or are yet to submit their Passports to VFS, I will explain the process which I completed today -

I visited VFS - Mumbai office today. You can walk-in during the prescribed hours from Monday to Friday. We had carried the following:

1. Our original passports
2. Photos as per the instructions. Though our photographs had address and date handwritten by our photographer, we gave them the photo cover (envelope) too :P :P
3. Print out of the PPR email with the form duly filled out

The whole process was over in exactly 20 mins. We had to pay Rs. 579 per person. They have given us an acknowledgement reciept which has our tracking number. They asked me if I would like to collect my passport or have it delivered. I preferred to collect it myself, as I and my spouse are working and there would be no one to collect it. In fact, since I am planning to go out of town for a few weeks, they informed that I can authorize my parents or a friend to collect it provided they have an authorization letter from me and my spouse.

So, overall my experience was very good. Their staff was very professional and helpful.

Hope this helps ;D ;D

I have also submitted my Passport at Mumbai VFS :P :P
