Hi,
Now this looks very interesting - 105 days from medicals but no PPR mail. Did you submit all your PCCs along with medicals and RPRF or some PCCs was submitted at a later date? If so, then when did you submit your PCC(s)?

received MR on 20th July and completed the same on 22nd July.

The report was sent by the hospital directly to WVO.

Do i need to send the receipt/proof of completing the medical to WVO??

Not required but recommended.

VO will at least know that we have complied with 30 days deadline in case of medicals also.

If you have already sent other docs, do not bother to send now. If you are about to send rprf, PCC n passport copies, it is advisable to add medical receipts.

Again, its not required. But there is no harm in sending couple of additional docs.

Hi friends.!
Can anyone tell me the exact way & the best way to show proof of funds at the time of landing? Since I'm single applicant? How much do I need to carry cash at the time of landing? Do I need to show any other document also as a proof of funds at the customs? Any other better way to show funds except cash? I haven't received my PPR yet, but to gain a little knowledge in advance is quite useful I guess. Experts pls guide..! :'(

I want to share something with those who are waiting for DM/PPR and feels disheartened/discouraged.

Number of times we might have thought whether we will be able to get through this at all.

But when you feel low, just close your eyes and start recalling the day when you decided to go to Canada...The consultants you met... IELTS exam you went through... WES assessment...
The wait till you got the file number...
The joy of the day you got your file number...
Wait for SLU and from SLU to MR...
The day of medicals... Wait for TLU...
Sigh of relief when you got the TLU...

You are so close to the final step and there is Canada. The Land of Maple Leaf...!! :)

As you know, you can carry up to $10000 without declaring to officials.

But it is not advisable to carry too much cash as it is both risky and may arouse suspicion.

Any liquid asset will be fyn in my humble opinion. Like fd, bank balance, travellers cheque etc.

Seniors please correct me if I am wrong.

Very well put; appreciate it Bluestone.

At least I will try to forget the pressure and anxiety at this weekend. Most of us have forgotten how a weekend should be spent, I bet :( :( :(.
