I got PPR ON 17th july. My spouse is in NZ on work visa, initially my consultant said stamping can be done from anywhere. Now he said get the passprt of my spouse from NZ to INDIA via bluedart courier

Is there any way we can courier passport from there to here

Though my consultant didn't send any mail to any visa office i.e Warsaw or NDVO. I asked him to do so and now he said it will be my responsibility if anything goes wrong. He said then my spouse have to travel to india for stamping

Please help im in very bad situation

I am requoting the message from dineDSP on July 06, 2015, 01:52:46 am

I researched through a lot of forums and websites and found the following information.

Background checks comprises of the following stages

1. Document verification: Determining the credibility of the documents provided. Time frame 2-6 months

2. Criminality checks: Verified through PCC provided for any form of charges including Driving offences but does not include any Credit checks or credit
history checks or credit defaults. Time frame varies according to countries. People with considerable travel history face delays.

3. Security checks: Checks conducted by CSIS on behalf of CIC to screen applicants for any affiliation to terrorist groups, direct or indirect involvement in any form of crime against humanity or genocide. They also check for any aliases used in the past, especially for people with change in the given names. This may be done through various agencies like Interpol and the FBI. Time frame 12-15 days post request from CIC. If any red flags appear, it may prolong to around 6 months. Applicants from certain countries face delays, when such countries are deemed to be politically and lawfully unstable.

I hope the info is useful.

Regards

Best wishes to all awaiting PPR/DM and Mr.

We have no option except to wait and watch.

Thank you everyone for your support...Friends who are waiting for TLU/MR/PPR will surely proceed very soon...Warsaw is a very good VO as compared to many others.

Did u submit at vfs ?? And vch place ? It was so quick!!!

At what point are the background checks and security checks done ? What is the difference ? Can someone explain pls.

Thanks.

All of the aforementioned checks ,Eligibility, Security, Criminality, Organized Crime & Misrepresentation comes under a parent level known as background checks. Therefore if any one of the mentioned checks are underway the VO replies that the file is undergoing background checks.. Many of us thinks that background checks are done before MR and security checks are done after MR.. Actually its the Eligibility check which is done before MR. Tree structure looks like this

Background Checks

1.1) Eligibility Checks
1.1.1) Eligibility Assessment 1
1.1.2) Eligibility Assessment 2 ....

1.2) Criminality Checks
1.2.1) Criminal History
1.2.2) Police Certificates......... so on and similarly for other types of checks as well.....

Source - GCMS Notes....

Hope this explanation is satisfactory for you...

This week the PPRS are not coming or yet slow , eventually by august they will clear up many files i guess....
Lets hope for the best ....

Its a tricky situation actually I suggest to make the process smother its better to comeback and get PP stamped here first or else he can get PP stamped there as few ppl did it and were in the similar situation. I dont thinks its law full to Courier your PP from one country to another. Would like inquire regarding a NZ PCC , how u did it ? did u fill consent disclosure form and sent to WVO for your husband ? How much time it took ?
