Hello friends..... Sorry for delay......
Want to share my landing experience...I landed on 1 July 2015. that was Canada day...no need to fill B4 forms. , pics for jewellery. No need to fill per PR application form....
I prepared lots of excel sheets B4 forms, jewellery pics. They didn't check....I reminded 3 times about all the forms but they said OK don't need. They just need ur copr. And ask for funds even they DonT look the proof. Again I reminded that I have proof and DD. They said its OK. Within 10 minutes they issued our SIN no...... So wonderful experience...... So I m in Edmonton... But my port of entry is Toronto..... So all done at Toronto.
Thanx Sukh bains.

Congrats for completing landing and welcome to Canada!

I would like to clarify on the B4 forms:
If one plans to bring any belongings at a later date, after landing, you must have the goods to follow B4 form stamped by the officer at the time of landing. Otherwise, it will be problem when you bring those belongings with you or through courier/shipping carrier etc later. Customs will not clear those belongings without a stamped Goods to follow stamped B4 form. All belongings listed and attached to the B4 form also must be stamped by the officer.

Guys dollar is very low. For the people who are ready and getting ready. It's time !! First go and buy dollars.

You are right it is the responsibility of the immigrant to get this stamped.

URGENT QUERY.............URGENT QUERY........

Guys,

Do we need to inform VO while receiving PPR mail about wife's pregnancy...Currently the 2nd month has started and I am expecting PPR very soon maybe in the next 10-15 days... I need to know:

1. Does informing VO delays the case and will they ask for delivery in our country or will they let us go?

2. If we don't inform VO since its under initial stage, what are the possible options?

We were planning that me being principal applicant will go first and wife will follow later after completing first 3 months?

Please suggest........valuable feedbacks are welcome.

If you are at PPR stage, please do not inform VO about this.
It is better to deliver the baby in Canada post completing 3 months.
Informing VO as this stage will unnecessary delay the processing.

This is what I have been thinking.........one of my cousin's wife was 1 month pregnant, she didnt even know and went to canada without informing, last year...she was pretty ok.
