No , it needs to be submitted via VFS only as most of the countries around the world have outsourced their visa application process to VFS in order to avoid long queues outside the embassies.

So, for the visa stamping , it is mandatory to submit the passport at VFS only

If you are in INDIA then you need to get the Fingerprints and send it to the FBI . It will take minimum 3 months of time. i have already initiated this process as i was aware about this crucial situation . I have sent it on 14 April and my payment charged on 20 June . i will get it on 10 July so nearly 3 months. Please do it urgent and simultaneously inform to CIC about the extension.

It is not mandatory to submit Passport via VFS and you can get your PP sealed if you go to CIC office in Delhi. My Uncle was staying abroad(UK) when he got PPR back in Mar-15 and he flew to Delhi to get the PP sealed. He got it done on the same day he visited CIC. Also i personally know another guy who got it sealed from CIC delhi. Hope it helps.

Friends.................can someone please try to clear my query!

My medicals was done 20th May and TLU was on 26th May and I am Dec applicant too.

I have not got a DM yet.

I know there are many of you with me on the same boat:-(

I have seen ppl getting PPR yesterday but these ppl have already got DM in may.The next batch is going to ppl who have DM in June.

What happens to me as I have not got a DM yet?

I have paid RPRF through DD.

Any of you paid by DD and no DM yet (Medicals in may)

You mean to say that if we visit New Delhi Visa (CIC) Office, submit our passport, and get the Passport stamped and get COPR the same day; please correct me if I am interpreting wrongly what you wanted to convey.
