Congrats to all who got ppr...

I have little confusion, if you could help me on what are the process after medical done, would there be any interview (as I can see interview column in profile details), what is DM, TLU and FLU?
How long I need to keep my funds maintained and when can I resign (is it advisable to resign after ppr only).

Dear All

It's PPR PPR PPR PPR for me too. :) :) :) :)

My ECAS is not yet updated with 4th line but have got PPR today.

Both Suresh and myself are Nepalese; guess they are clearing our files on priority basis because of recent earthquake incident.

Wish all waiting for DM/PPR get their DM's/PPR's today and within this week.

I am going to resign today only. Thank you all friends for your support.

Congratulations to Nepalese Applicant and Suresh !!

Once your TLU ( Third line update ) happened on CIC site which states "Medical results have been received" it means you have cleared your medical and you are 99.99% through to get your PPR (Passport request) for visa stamping through email and DM (Decision made) will reflect on CIC site which is called as FLU (Final Line update).

It's better not to touch your funds till the time your visa get stamped on your passport. Third Line update on CIC also means that your background check is also cleared.. So just relax and pray to GOD to send PPR request as soon as possible for you and for other too... :-* :P :-* ;D ;D

Once you get the PPR request then you can resign because I am also waiting for the same and few others too.. ;D ;D

Exactly. Just wait for the PPR and put down your papers - am eagerly waiting to do that btw.

:) ;) :D ;D 8)

Resigning at the end of this month(Ashad). Already planned for Toronto as I have a friend there. How did you book appointment with VFS?

I see. I haven't booked appointment with VFS till now. Will do it very soon and let you know.

My medical was done on 09/05/2015 along with my family.

Online status updated around mid may and shows that "medical has been received" but nothing after this.

A friend of mine got his medical done and received Request for Passport and visa also within 2 weeks.

The only difference is that my family has also applied and I am diabetic and Hypertensive.

Can someone tell me why in some cases it takes so long???
