Friends, is it possible that foreign travel or stay might be a reason for delay because it require more security check and is dependent upon relevant country of visit or stay.

I have been to United States 3 times on visitor visa with 22-30 days stay each time.

Those who are waiting for DM/PPR, kindly share your details about foreign visit and/or stay.

Guys, pls share who else has paid RPRF via DD payable at Toronto, Canada. I have a strong hunch that this is also delaying our DM/PPR. WVO must be sending DD's in batches and the next batch of DD's that reached to WVO post 15th May 2015 has not been sent to Toronto, Canada for encashment.

Pls share your DD timelines and provide details of DD.

My DD reached WVO on 19th May 2015....drawn on Royal Bank of Canada, payable at Toronto, Canada. It's not yet encashed.

Hi Guys,
I am applicant form India, my application was received on 23rd December and they started processing on 29th May, got medical request on June 1st and third line of medical reception was updated on 17th June. I am waiting for the pp request.
I had a little mistake in my application wherein I have put wrong passport expiry date of my daughter who is only of 7 years, this was a typo error and the same communication was send along with the medical results to CIC.
I don't know how it is going to effect my application, how can I be certain that this amendment is done to my application?
Is there any one else who has any same/similar mistake and how it was corrected?
Can anyone explain if there would be any negative impact on my application?

Hi Pritpal,
Since you have already notified the vo of your mistake, you shouldnt be too worried. If the vo needs anything from you to rectify this mistake, they will ask. Also, did you send the photocopies of your daughter's passport with the medical results?

Still if it is bothering you I would recommend raising a CSE.

i dont think thats d reason i have seen ppl on dis frm with forein travels ,,i myself stayed in canada and nz ,,but i dnt find dis a reason ,,

Its too frustrating to wait out like this without any clarity from Warsaw on the processing of your file.
i really wonder where the bottleneck for all the files that are stuck for the past 1-2 months for proceeding from TLU to DM/PPR
Are the VOs not accountable for unwarranted delay? Do they get reviewed and grilled like we get done by our management for even a little delay at our office?
Seirously, As each day passes by....the level of frustration is increasing.......not getting a way to vent it out...
