Incase you have a BP. They would ask you go for cardio advice so you need to undergo few more tests like ECG, 2D Echo and Creatine and if need be TMT and most detailed of all is Nuclear test. Nothing to worry about as they just keep it in records.

Hi,

I am undergoing medical tests tomorrow.

I have high blood pressure past 6 years and have been taking daily medicine. I am also into the habit of smoking past 8 years, however reduced smoking drastically to 1-2 sticks per day past 1 month.

Is there any specific suggestion / advise from our senior members for my medical tests tomorrow morning ?

Submit all and keep a copy for yourself. Both e-medical forms as well as the payment receipts.

Thanks Rohit99 & Saurabh for your kind words. It surely boosts my confidence.

My worry here is about my past smoking history. I hope, that they don't link it to my high blood pressure and simply reject my case thinking me to be a potential risk to the Government sponsored medical program !

Folks !
I see many people on the forum get their visas as soon as possible and leave to canada within a week or two. How is that possible ? Esp ppl who are working and needs to serve their notice period, take care of things in India like selling their assets etc. Moreover how do you get there without a job offer too. You depend on the funds you take there or there are lots of research done for getting a job once you land there or...is it a gut feeling that they would get a job once we land.

Saurabh back ground check starts after MR for those with PCC with application, and after PCC receipt by VO for those without PCC during application, and tlu is a separate flagging of your file with medical received(passed )tag, when both are cleared DM occurs
And you will get your DM soon
