it is a very personal decision,

My advice would be to keep working for some time, add up more money, start preparing to move, (set your house for rent, sell off furniture etc) you can always resign later. once you are totally ready to move.

Let's see, I might resign either at DM or after getting PPR email. I need to finish up some stuffs soon.

Getting PCC for the same address as mentioned in passport is easier and quicker. However in case of address change, the PSK might do re-verification of your current address. I recently got the PCC made for my spouse and since the address was same as in the passport, we got the PCC within 1 hour from Delhi PSK.

Cheers,
LazyBoy

Thanks lazy boy, it was really useful info...lets keep our fingers crossed and wait for the rest of the process to get over... :)

Friends, I have got third line added to my application status on CIC site :)

I have sent my RPRF fee receipt and passport copies to Warsaw last week but no status update yet :(

Should I also send scan copies on email - passport and RPRF receipt both? Is RPRF receipt need to send to some other email Id as I read somewhere in the previous posts or to the same Warsaw office id?

No scanned copies. Only hard copies by courier. You may send scanned copies by emails but need to send the hard copies for sure. Otherwise you are going to have a delay in processing, as u need to send the hard copies eventually !

Hi friends, I scanned and emailed all documents to WVO after getting my medicals done, PCC and RPRF. Following that I received the following email from WVO.

"Dear Applicant,
Please be advised that only original police certificates are acceptable. Received copies are not sufficient. Please provide originals."
Luckily, I had already sent the originals through courier as well.
I immediately replied back stating the fact that courier was dispatched and received at their office. I also sent the POD as attachment.
Therefore, we can be sure of the fact that we need to send the originals to WVO. Hope this helps you.

Hi dsmalhan,

Thanks for sharing this. Did you send the hard copy receipt of the RPRF? does WVO mean that too or just referring to the original PCC. There has been some confusion on this part. I received an email clearly mentioning that RPRF should be a printout (hard copy) which needs to be attached to our application.

Hi seniors,

Pls. Advise, i have a situation, due to some unavoidable circumstances, i had to leave my job last month. Now i am in two minds whether to join new or wait for PR decision first. I have required experience for my NOC. Pls suggest whether it is necessary to update VO on Resignation of job even after PER and AOR. Do they only verify the jobs/experience till application date only. Is it advisable to unnecessary confuse them ?

Pls. Help me on this decision.

The scan copy will also work, as it worked for me and few others as well. I got MR and RPRF request and completed MR and paid RPRF on 9th May. I just filled required information like Name, UCI and address, signed and scanned it again and sent to WVO via email. My third line updated on 20th May.
Note - Only in case of PCC, you have to send original copy to WVO.

By calling the hospital , quoting your IME number and by asking them when was it uploaded. Once the upload is done a team from CIC in Ottawa would update the 3rd line "Medical reports have been received" if they are happy with the results and no additional tests are required.

Thank you for the response.

Since I have done my medicals from India but my husband will do from NZ so when will my Third Line updated? When both medicals will be received or mine would suffice.
Also my husband will send me his medical form and receipt via email, which I will courier to VO, will it work or do they need original receipts only?

Thanks again!

Hi Priya,

I beg to differ.

WVO categorizes Medicals/RPRF/PCC/PP copies as "Additional documents". Now, my understanding is that the 'TLU' and these 'additional documents' are NO way related. The TLU gets updated by the CIC medical panel in Ottawa once they receive the medical report from the hospital and IF they are ok with the results.

The next update is more critical which is the PPR->DM or DM->PPR - it happens either ways. I sincerely feel that we can get to this stage if all the "Additional Documents" mentioned above are received in hard copies by the VO (not just original PCC) . I understand that many do NOT agree to this. I have been posting about this for the last 3 - 4 days. My intention is not to challenge anyone (I have got my 4th line updated already!), but to avoid delays for not doing the right thing :(

IS there anyone on this forum who have received PPR or DM (4th Line) after submitting the RPRF and others docs by scanned copies/Email to WVO? If yes..we are good. My understanding is incorrect. End of my argument 8)

The TLU will be updated ONLY when they receive ALL the reports for ALL the members of the family, irrespective of current location / intention to land together or not. CIC should be able to link the number of applicants using the IME/UCI/App# available on the IME form.
The medical reports would usually be uploaded by the hospital itself (assuming the NZ hospital should have e-Medicals).
Even if its not eMedical enabled its still their responsibility to send the same to CIC.
Please refer to: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/medic/exam/submit.asp

However, we do get a Medical receipt (the one with the photo) on the day of our medical test. That is something which you can send to your VO. It doesn't say anywhere that we DO need to send it to VO by email/courier. Most of us do for our own satisfaction! If you are willing to send it to the VO by courier, you can very well ask him to send it directly to the WVO ! The medical form is not required (Its CIC who sent it to us ). Just the receipt would do.

Hi,

1) In email by WVO, they ask for hard copy OR scan copy of Passport - "Please send a copy of all pages of the valid passport(s) for yourself and your accompanying family members by mail, courier or e-mail to warsaw-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca."

2) For RPRF receipt, I didn't find any requirement hard copy. They will just verifiy the payment against your UCI.

3) For Medical, I send them scan copy of Summary report got from Hospital.

4) For PCC, I already said in my earlier post, Mandatory original required.

And, Congratulation for FLU.

Dear Friends!! I have conducted my medicals on May 19, 2015 at Ludhiana. I received e-mail from Warsaw regarding conducting of Medicals and submission of RPRF on May 09, 2015 (the e-mail didn't mention about sending of RPRF through hard or soft copy though). After medicals, the clinic supervisor said they will upload the e-medial to Warsaw VO directly. I paid my RPRF using my friend's CC and uploaded the RPRF receipt (mentioning my UCI and address on it), a cover letter and e-medical receipts on CSE Warsaw.

My questions are -
1. do I need to send hard copy of RPRF to warsaw?
2. Do I need to send scanned copy of RPRF through e-mail? (If yes, please share the e-mail ID)

Any help from seniors will be highly appreciated :)

Hello All,

Following is my app status:

App sent date - Nov 4, 2014
App recd date - Nov 7
CC charge date - Jan 9, 2015
PER Date - Mar 13
AOR Date - April 30
MR request email - May 14
RPRF Payment - May 15
MR Completed date - May 16

ECAS shows only 2 lines:

1. Application received on 7th Nov 2014
2. Processing start date on 14th May 2015

I sent my RPRF payment receipt, passport copies, medical forms, medical test payment receipt, and cover letter all in 1 email to Warsaw immigration email Id on 17th May 2015. I did not fill up any information in the RPRF receipt as I used my own CC for payment, and dint fill any information by hand.

What does it mean? Where am I heading? Is it all running fine? Have I missed anything? What should I expect next and when? Does it mean background verification is still happening or is it all done?

Your suggestions or responses will be very helpful..thanks in advance and best of luck to all of you in the forum.

Cheers,
MVK

Hi mvk05!! Which e-mail ID did you used to send scanned copies of your documents. Thanks :)
