My HR told me before per she got verification visit.

it is not possible at all. PER is the first contact of visa officer with your file.. There is absolutely no chance of getting visit or any kind of verification before per. Verifications begin any time after per till medicals.

Maybe you are right but I seen one more person telling same thing that he got verification call before per.

I think The days from AOR to MR will decrease from 45-75 days to 35-60 days in upcoming days.

The good think is that they are taking less time for PPR within 30-45 days (I know there is only PPR but expecting the trend to continue) which is good as compared to 90-150 days taken for PPR by NDVO.

In extreme situation if they are increasing time period from AOR to MR in future still it is blessing in disguise if they issue PPR within 30-45 days. This will increase the validity of our visa and give us adequate time for landing which is not case for many NDVO applicants who hardly have 3-6 months from PPR date.

So lets kill the waiting period before getting MR instead of waiting long for PPR after MR, and hope that we all receive PPR within 30-45 days after MR received.

-- Specify height and eye colour for your spouse;

-- pay the processing fee for your spouse in the amount of $550CDN


-- copies of all pages of the spouse's passport;

-- updated Schedule A form for your spouse; -- updated Additional Family Information form for your spouse; -- updated Supplementary forms for your spouse and Your Travels form (IMM5562) for your spouse.


Please comply with the above request within 30 days from the date of this letter. Call will be from india as they have local agents in india for verification.

First all provide email address to them.... Else it will be always paper based communication and that may add delay...

WVO accepts DD in Canadian Dollars drawn from a Canadian Bank (not from any other banks like SBI, Thomas cook etc.,) OR deposit money in Poland currency in a Poland post office and get a certificate from them to attach instead of currency OR submit in person with CAD.

After a lot of research with Google and phone calls to different banks in India, I found that HDFC bank has tie up with Bank of Nova Scotia & they issue the CAD Drafts issued by Bank of Nova Scotia

My father had opened an account as I am currently living in Maldives. Also not all the branches can issue the DD directly. My father had travelled 6 hours to get a DD in hand and to reduce one day in processing.

I say this as all can be prepared and be ready when the time for drawing RPRF DD.

So prepare a DD in CAD payable at Canada by consulting HDFC bank, if not open an account with them. Also send all the additional documents as requested by them.
