My VFS online status has been changed to " your passport is ready for collection "

Just going to VFS New Delhi now to collect the passports.

Dear, throw some light on this, 1-do you have to personally submit the passports at vfs, is it mandatory for all applicants ( kids etc ) to accompany you to vfs,2-do they take some finger prints as well

End of next month.. Cos they are still busy with May and June applicants...

Dear xyz , ours are the same ( almost) time lines, i guess you got the ppr, iam still waiting, I wonder why iam getting a strong feeling that Passports from Punjab are taking more time as compared to the ones from South ( as is the case of Visitor visa-Yes they are better scrutinized as compared to other states in case of a visitor visa)Damn this wait is a killer

No mate I havent got the PPR yet.. I am still waiting for it.. Hoepfully next week...

Ya this wait is killing no matter what you get whthr ppr or dm.. After that wait for visa...

It is not so that some areas are under more surveillance. I am from Haryana and waiting. This waiting is really killing as many later applicants got visa and some of them are flying soon. I don't know what do they mean by "Due Time". One of my friend raised GCMS and his everything is clear except there is no entry in front of security. His medical was done in early / mid may and he is still waiting.
