1)Its calculated one year from the date of Medical Request.
2)PR can be extended as many times as you want if you live in Canada for 2 years within 5 years.
3)For citizenship rules

You must have been physically present in Canada as a permanent resident for at least 1,460 days during the six years immediately before the date of your application. You must also be physically present for at least 183 days during each of four calendar years that are fully or partially within the six years immediately before the date of application. These requirements do not apply to children under 18.

Exceptions to these requirements apply for certain Crown servants and certain family members of Crown servants.

When calculating time you have lived in Canada, you can only count time spent after you became a permanent resident of Canada.

Just checked ECAS. Status has changed ro 'Decision made'. But no 4th line update. Is DM before a PPR good thing? How do we know decision made is positive or not?
Thanks

ok then fine ,I think people who already got request with Medicals because usually they ask for proof of funds with document request ,chances are negligible to get a request now ,you have a different case where you did not get the document request with Medicals.
But always advisable to keep POF until you land in Canada.

About PR extension ,you need not to go through WES ,IELTS and anything ,if you have stayed for 2 years within 5 years ,they will renew your PR card for next 5 years ,just like they renew your passport when it gets expired .

About if company send you out for work ,I need to check whether it comes under an exception where they calculate those days in Canada as you would be working under a Canadian employer, will update you once I know it but I can guess they might be calculating those days as your days in Canada.
