Just now got a call from my consultant.

My timelines are on the left.

Guys i some query..........

1) I have applied thru a consultant. Now he is asking me to handover the passports to him and he will send it thru VFS on our behalf. Can i directly send the PP thru VFS without any interference of my consultant or is it mandatory to send them thru him as i have hired him for my case?

2) do we have to send old as well as new passports to the visa office?K

2) if yes then do we have to add the details for old passports also in the details form which we have to send along with the PP's.

Firstly Congrats , along with passports you will also need a copy of PPR mail to be submitted to VFS office. If your consultant had send you the email than you can send it directly, if not than I am afraid you can't. I am not quite sure about your second question, but I think its no harm in sending both the passports if in case your old pass is still active. At Rprf stage did you provide them with copies of both your old and new passports ? If yes than send both passports.

Yea I noticed this and that is why after every person who posts a DM/PPR status, I congratulate them and then ask them to try to stay active on the forum and help others out. We need each other. 1. You can go directly to VFS, all you need is the email from WVO asking you to submit passports.
2. Only the new passport.
3. No, you need not fill the details of old passport.

1) I do not think it is necessary to do so. In fact, your consultant needs to have written authorization from your side to submit the passport. I am surprised why they are insisting.

2) It is better to go with the both just in case VFS needs both of them. I had read it somewhere in last week that VFS took both old and new passports.

3) I think you need to fill in the details of passport copy of which was sent to wvo alongwith rprf receipt. It should be the passport which you want to be stamped.
