MEDICALS: 15 MAY
PPR: 14 JULY

I M CURRENTLY LIVING IN DUBAI, AND CANT GO TO DELHI TO GET MY PASSPORT STAMPED, ANY IDEA WHAT I CAN DO?

Hi Anupam,

I am in same situation. One person ( check the user Kurian8) told me that VFS Abudhabi accepted his passport, though his VO was Delhi & got it stamped after 15 days. But my consultant told me that could cause delays & we will never be able to get a confirmation from Abudhabi, though VFS may accept to take passport. Not sure what to do now.

Please let me know if you get any information.

How many of us have travel history out of India and for how long? Please answer if you do not mind.


The applicants who already got PPR/DM, have you had travel history out of India? If yes, could you please give brief details?

I am asking this because security checks include inquiry with countries where you have traveled.

I have had travel history to united states for 3 times for less than a month each time.

I agree buddy....congratulations to people who received PPRs. I think today 4-5 are down. Happy with the trend currently, we would be getting PPR soon.

What you should do is get in touch with Warsaw. Tell them you are in Mid East and request stamping location to be changed.
Keep all VOs involved in loop, and get it stamped at Abu Dhabi.
Sending passports in/out of India through courier is not advisable.
Indian regulations do not allow it and your passport might be withheld at Customs.

I have had chat with one of my friend in Canada. He said that there are some of his friends who have the same problem. TLU but waiting for PPR. Lets hope we will be out of this bottleneck soon.

I traveled to US 4 times in last 7 years.. and Canada twice in last 3 years.. for short duration of approx 25-30 days each time.
