Hi All,need your advice. My son's passport is expiring July,2016. I am assuming visa will be issued by august and since medicals were done on 1st June,first entry needs to be done before that(we are planning May,2016).
My question is "Will my son be allowed to board the plane in May with passport expiring in july?"
Please guide me if I need to apply for a new passport before that.

They will not answer your query unless and until your 12 months period get expired if you are an Indian. They have clearly mentioned on there site..

Thats upto you to decide based on your own convinience. There are no rules/guidelines around that.
Whichever form you carry money in, you should be able to prove that you meet the POF requirements.
