How will we know that we have cleared our medicals. I have completed my medicals on 27th may.

Hello members, I sent a mail to warsaw immigration enquiry and asked for extension to submit PCC of my spouse for Qatar, and they have sent a mail today stating they have extended it by another 30 days. I specifically asked them to extend it by minimum of 90 days, because it takes about 3 months' time to get qatar pcc through Indian embassy. Now, in mail from warsaw, they have stated that no further extension would be given and failure to submit everything by 12th July, will result in refusal of application. I am so tensed now because my spouse right now cant travel to qatar himself and get it done in person. so, we will have to be dependent upon some friend of ours, who will do all processing on our behalf. but, i m still doubtful that we will be able to get it in one month's time. that's why i wanted to get 90 days' extension. on top of that, in few days i would also be travelling out of town for more than a month and would be totally out of touch with all this. any suggestion, what should i do now? should i send them another mail or may be call them and explain my situation? feeling so low after getting their mail and don't know how i will be able to get it done within a month. and the way they have mentioned that no further extension would be given as well their wording that failure to submit everything in 30 days time "will result in refusal".. rather than "may result in refusal".

It's clearly mentioned on CIC website that, if the person not available in Qatar, then he needs to send:

If you live outside of Qatar: (but have lived in Qatar for more than 6 months)

You can:
1.Return to Qatar and apply in person OR ask a representative (a friend, relative or colleague) in Qatar, with a power of attorney, to apply on your behalf at the Criminal Evidences and Information Department (CEID) and follow the instructions above.
2.Visit your nearest Qatari Embassy or consulate
3.By express mail

You or your representative must bring/send:
•A letter explaining the purpose for which the certificate is required
•Original fingerprints certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Qatari Embassy in the country where you are currently residing.
•A copy of the passport that you used in Qatar
•A copy of your old or expired residence visa in Qatar and ID card
•A copy of your current passport
•Three photographs (4x6 cm)
•Applicable fees

and hopefully it will be done before the mentioned/ requested time. As its just a matter of verifying their records of your spouse as when he left on exit and what was his status while he left. Follow the insytructions carefully.

Call the hospital and ask them about the medical test and any problems in them. If they inform that all is well, then ask them when will they upload results. This reduces 50 % of tension. After the results are uploaded, CIC will change the status to "medical results have been recieved". This means you have cleared medicals.

Still waiting for TLU.......got my medicals done on 23rd.....as per Max its already uploaded !!

Dont worry i have completed medicals on 8th may and still waiting for TLU. Hope we will get soon .

Thank you Rock_r4. I called the hospital, only thing i got from them is when it was uploaded.

My understanding from "Medicals results have been received" is that VO has received the medicals reports from hospital.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Yes that's right. Unless until CIC is ok with medicals they do not update TLU

Exactly.

Once Medicals are finished, the Designated Practitioner checks the reports and uploads to Regional Office. In our case Regional Office is Delhi.
Medical officer at Regional Office will assess the report.

If he/she thinks that something is wrong, further tests will be suggested to hospital and hospital, in turn, call you for further test.

If he/she thinks that medical results are fine, he will then enter the result in GCMS. At this point of time, your status will show TLU.
