Hi Satya,

You can get all information from - cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who.asp. The Canadian immigration happens through various means but the fastest way is through federal skilled worker applications wherein professionals (only listed on cic.gc.ca- skilled professional NOC categories, link-cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp?expand=jobs#jobs) with minimum 1 year of experience are invited for Canadian immigration. The applicant needs to have a minimum of 67 points to be eligible for Canadian immigration(link- cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp).These applications are considered on first come first serve basis. For this year, the application window opened on May 4 2013 till April 2014. Only first 300 applications per category are considered for processing as per new norms of CIC.

As far as I can understand , your job description falls under NOC - 2174 Computer programmers and interactive media developers(Advice you to check your job description first under this category).

However, based on my experience, the limit for this category must have already been filled by this time but you can apply even now if you wish to.

I believe, this information is sufficient for you to start with. Should you need any further clarifications, please get back to this forum. Thanks!

Although CIC are yet to publish official figures it seems almost certain looking at the number of applicants from our forum members alone for this NOC that the cap is already full.

I think you would be better focussing your efforts on a less popular NOC if you have other work experience, OR try to secure a job offer with a Canadian employer in which case the NOC caps do not apply.

Best of luck,
Wayne.
