FSWP Rejected Application

Hi There,
my application was rejected due to insufficient points . I got UCID and file number.

I dont have enough luck to resubmit application this year. My original IELTS test results are with CIC now.

When submitting new application, is it possible to exclude IELTS test result , and ask them to use old?

because getting 2nd copy Test report is almost impossible. ???

please help.

Hi,

First, it is possible to get the second copy of your IELTS test report from your testing center. Look for details at the official IELTS web site, they have this option specially for immigration visas applicants.

Second, as far as I remember there is some option to tick in the forms indicating that your original IELTS report is already at the CIC so that they could refer to it. Look for this information in the IMM 7000 guide. You can also describe this situation in your cover letter.

Please read section 9 of updated document checklist, it states that you can submit copy of ielts TRP if in case original is retained with CIC and your application is rejected. Please read it for more information. Thanks and Good luck

How you did not count the points ? Its odd.

Could you please provide more information on how your points were calculated because you are expected to perform self eligibility or points count before applying.

Thanks, i found it in section 9. This will solve the problem about IELTS result.

They have ignored one of my experience letter, which caused me 2 points loss. Ended up with 65

I'm from india, seems story different here, whomever i asked about this didn't have positive answer. I did Ielts in British Council, they will send duplicate TRF to evaluating authority only. I have dropped an email to British Council and waiting for reply.

The story must be all the same no matter where you reside, check this out:

You will only receive one (1) copy of your Test Report Form, unless you are applying to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), or United Kingdom Border Agency (UKBA) – in these cases, you can receive two. Proof of application to CIC and UKBA must be provided."

As proof of application to CIC you can provide whaterver you have including but not limited to the rejection letter from CIO.

However this approach is useful for those applicants whose application is not returned or even opened yet, so that they could send another package with another Primary NOC Code to improve their chances to stay within caps. In your case you can simply send a photocopy of your test report and indicate that the original reprot is already there.

They send IELTS to evaluating authority. If you know somebody working in college/university, in your country, give that person official address and ask British Council to send the Test Report Form there. That organization and person are your evaluating authority ;D

Hi Roman,

Can u please tell if the criteria for holding the IELTS TRF with CIC are same with Rejection or Return?

Or only when they reject, they will hold it?

Do they send us an email if the application is rejected or we have to wait for the postal service to receive the package back.
