Hi All,

There is a lot of information in this useful forum but i can not read through 600 or 700 pages to find my answers, so I would suggest that that things get indexed is some way, admins, please...

I have some questions as I received my ilets results and Im ready to apply, I meet the points.

1- Applying for ECA, I have a high Diploma, a bachelors degree and Masters degree. which one I should get assessed? the highest? or all? I do not want to go through al of them, but if its needed then I will have to....

2- Im applying under 2147 Computer engineers (except software engineers/designers), now I can see the caps are too far
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp
Does it make sense as now the english points are more difficult to achieve, so not many people are able to apply? what are my chances?

3 - As per understating that all application to be sent to Sydney office, Im based in UAE...\\

Thank you guys...

Hello S7

1. If you are applying to WES fro ECA then check this link: http://www.wes.org/ca/fswp/requireddocuments/index.asp

2. I dont mean to discourage you but at this stage your chances are unfortunately very slim. NOC 2147 is a very popular one. and from the trends in this forum and the CIC update we believe this NOC was filled well before the end May.

3. Yes all applications for FSW go to Central Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia. Only after the preliminary checks for completeness and sufficient points the application is forwarded to your relevant visa office.

2147 is one of the hot NOC
You are late now for this NOC
pls dont waste your time, money and energy

Agreed. Cap has definitely been reached for this NOC. Feel free to apply - but expect that you will receive your application back unprocessed.

Thank you guys............ but can you give an explanation of why the Total received toward the overall cap: 65 only?

The explanation is already stated at the CIC website you visited:

Note: Due to the large number of applications we get, we cannot check that each one is complete on the same day it gets to the office. The numbers on this page are updated at least once a week, but are only a guide. There is no guarantee that an application sent in now will fall within the cap by the time it gets to the Centralized Intake Office.

Thanks a lot guys for the feedback....

anyway I have applied to WES and hopefully by next week i can send my application.

I like to stay positive, im not loosing anything ...the fees will be returned to be back from CIC if the cap is reached. I can re use the ILETS and the WES next year :)

simply put, it is not updated on a weekly basis. who knows, we might be surprise by the bare fact that all, if not the popular NOCs are completely filled up! :(

I think it will get updated soon, but in general i have this feeling that things will be alright and the cap will reach only at late stages. remeber that many people have the same mind se, oh its too late to apply... and they never apply besides its not easy like before to get 67 with min 6 ilets in all bands..... this is just a feeling.,..... :)

lets wait and see if they update it this weekend

An update this weekend isn't going to give you any idea of how many applications have actually been received. All it will tell you is how many applications CIC has reviewed and determined to be complete.

it would kill TS if he heeds some of the suggestions here and does not send his app, only to find out later that there's some guy who submitted later than him but gets a successful result in his app.

Go ahead and submit your app :)

Excetly CIC update is not at all giving any idea of current status.

S7 Since CIC's said to return all the documents back to the applicant, you can sure try now.

However, expect to apply next year as 2147 for now seems to be indeed very full. I'd suggest to prepare everything just to be on time and meanwhile improve IELTS.

As regards WES, I's suggest to collect and send all your degrees as it might be essential for them and the price is the same. Upgrading the incomplete package will cost you extra time and money, for the courier at least.
