Hello there,

PLEASE HELP

I am about to submit my express entry application-FSWP. All my documents are ready, except that my previous employer is refusing to offer me this letter because I did not leave on good terms. I tried but he said not at all !!

So far, what I can provide :
Job offer : includes monthly salary, start date, job title. It does not mention duties.
Work termination certificate: states end date
Work visa on passport showing that this company was my sponsor.

-Anyone had a similar experience ? What can I submit as an alternative to the reference letter ?
- Is it ok if the salary is mentioned per month instead of per year ?

many thanks

Any thoughts please..... ?
If your former boss can write your reference letter, have him do so, but you will need to also obtain and provide evidence that he used to work with your former employer (common things people use are copies of company IDs, business cards, etc.). It may also help to get the letter 'endorsed' in some other way, such as notarized, to add further legitimacy to it.
You may also want to include an LOE (letter of explanation) explaining why you were unable to obtain the reference letter directly from your former employer. If you have documented evidence (e.g. an email) of the Company refusing to give you the reference letter, it would be good to provide this too.
Monthly salary is fine; do you happen to have copies of your pay advices? This would also be good supplemental documentation to include as well.
