Hello po, nag submit po ako ng mga passports namin last September 15 thru LBC. Visa on hand October 2, 2015.

Hello Future Canadians, sa mga senior po o mga naka-land na, plan ko po kc sa Toronto magland (from Dubai), and intend for 1 week stay to finish landing formatlities then diretso New York for 1 week din, tapos balik Dubai. Alam ko critical at ndi makakabalik ng walang PR Card which could take up to 3 months, eh ndi ko po mahihintay for now since babalik pa ako sa Dubai for work. I have a cousin in Edmonton, ok lang po ba sa kanila i-address yung PR Card ko tapos send na lang nila sa akin sa Dubai? May kilala po ba kayo na nakagawa na ng ganito?

Happy for you Sasquatch...kmi just finished medical yesterday. If same with your timeline 1 month din pla ang ppr from medical.

Thanks Spark. For sure kaw na susunod. Actually 2 weeks lang usually from meds done to PPR kung non-overseas. Pero in my case, I think medyo tumagal yung security check coz nasa abroad ako.
Just sent my PP via DHL last Thurs. Unfortunately hindi pa dumating sa Pinas. Upon tracking, gumala pa sa Bahrain. ??? ??? ??? More or less Php 5K yung cost ng courier if converted to Php.

DM na po ECAS nyo?From Qatar din ako. Pero on the way pa to CEM passport ko. Hopefully tomorrow mreceive.

CEM will send your passports back via courier.
ETA is 2 weeks from DM.

In short po ba kahit di pa complete yung additional docs na hinihingi ng CEM pwede na isubmit within asking time (within 30 days binigay sa amin to comply).

2 additional docs po hiningi sa akin (Qatar Police Clearance Certificate & Singapore Police COC) and sa wife ko isa lang (Singapore Police COC). Our medical scheduled this week and we already done payment for RPRF. Yung Qatar PCC ko kasi baka di umabot ng 30 days but on process na. Salamat po sa info.

Yes, you need to submit your available documents since meron timeline of within 30days.
the important factor is to mention what have you done on your pending documents and mention the possible timeline in getting it (and syempre mag lagay ka allowance in the timeline > that's what i did)

mass mabilis naman ata kumuha ng PCC sa Qatar and Singapore. unlike sa Saudi na it took sometime to get it.
buti na lang is andun pa yung kakilala ko before, since about 8years had passed na.

but god is good and was able to get it and we were able to get our PPR then VISA.

hi, may i ask po regarding sa proof of funds, ang susundin po bang amount is ung bagong nkpost ngaun sa cic or ung last yr na proof of fund reqt?

we're a family of 3 po kasi and last yr required po kame ng php750k pero ngaun po ang nakalagay nlng sa cic website is $18,260 which is equivalent to around php650k nlng.

ano po ang susundin?

Hello, everybody, I received additional documents request email last 23rd of September with no attachment (missing attachment), sent a couple of emails and CSE to the visa office and finally got a reply today with the attachment! I will send the additional documents (just Australian PCC) tomorrow and pay RPRF. I did medicals check 1st of October and was told that the results will be sent the 8th. I am an Dec 23, applicant. I got the ECAS update to do my medicals and RPRF. I did my Medicals on 3rd sep and was told by the panel physician that it will be send to CIC Online. I also paid the RPRF on 6th Sep based on the request I got from Immigration office Manila.

My question is whether the Immigration office will update the ECAS saying that "Medical received " or "RPRF received". What proof we have about this ? As the Mediacl request letter says that if we do not receive your documents within 30 days we will reject it ? Can anyone let me know what should be our next step ? and generally how many days it takes by immigration office to ask for passport after the medicals ?

Hi,

Yes, you need to follow the new settlement funds guideline since they are updated annually.

During the time we were applying for FSW 2014. For a family 3 of it was CAD$18,097 (http://www.fsw2014.info/proof-of-funds-for-the-application/)

As for the current, CAD$18,260 (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp)

There is a minimal increase in terms of CAD, but since Canadian Dollar fell this year. Hence, lower in Peso.

From the recent trend, most applicants who completed medicals did not got the ECAS update of "Medicals Received". However, they got the PPR email. So, your next in line to received the PPR. Should be within a month's time from medicals submission.
