Hi, usually ilan days ba ung gap from SLU to TLU? kasi 3rd week of August pa ung SLU ko till now wala pang TLU. Tapos SLU ko "we started processing our app on March 20, 2015. Nalagpasan na ko nung iba. May problem kaya application ko?

I have done my Medical today. I have one question , I am an Indian staying in Malaysia on my company visa from last 4 years. My Visa office is transferred to Manila office.
My passport is getting expired in July 2016 if I get my Canada Visa stamped by September or Maximum by October then whether I can still travel to Canada on that passport in Jan or feb 2016? as I understand that generally minimum 6 months passport validity is required to travel to any country. Or can I go for a new passport and carry the Old passport with this visa to Canada. Is the Visa on old passport can be still used for travelling to Canada ? or Whether CIC can transfer the visa in to my new passport later ? Has anybody gone through this situation.
Even if I take a new passport now, I cannot have the new Malaysian visa transferred on the New passport within 1 month of time (This is due to unexpected delay from Malaysia Immigration, generally 2 months)

Please suggest.

Hello KIRTANE welcome!If you are not going to renew your passport, your visa validity will be on the last day of your passport expiry on July 2016 as you have stated. If you are going to renew after your passport have been stamped with Canadian Visa,what I learned here is that you will be bringing 2 passports. Your new passport and the passport that contains the Visa. This is according to what I have read here.

Hello forumates! Pwede mag ask.? Kasi kahapon itong number 7 which is a PPR is my number 5. But today when i checked my ecas, nainsert na ung nakalagay ngaun sa number 5 at 6. Ano kaya yang mga correspondece letters na sent may 6,& may 13. Ung may 13 nakatanggap ako ng furtherance test instruction so siguro un n ung letter ,but dont know ung sinasabi jaan na may 6 letter. Still IN PROCESS ung status ng ECAS ko. Submitted my passport august 24,2015. Still waiting for the passport with visa. Im a bit nervous kc jan s ng appear na bagong laman ng ecas ko. 1.We received your application for permanent residence on June 16, 2014.
2.We started processing your application on April 9, 2015.
3.We transferred your application to the Manila office on October 10, 2014. The Manila office may contact you.
4.We sent you medical instructions on April 14, 2015. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
5. We sent you a letter on May 6, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Had my medicals done this morning, went to IOM. I was 1st to come and finished by 8am. Hoping for the best results, the doctort said they just need the Hiv and Syphillis test result and will send it by monday. Good luck to all!

Hi thyness. May question lang po since sa IOM ka nagpa medical. Ok din ba dun? Do they accept credit card payment? Balak na kasi namin magpa medical this 2nd week pero pinag iisipan namin kung sa IOM or SLEC BGC.

hi yimindaojianada. di ako sigurado sa process pagobtain ng police clearance sa Taiwan, but base sa kwento mo eh seems you have done everything to comply and meet the deadline. i think if valid naman talaga ung reason and really beyond your control, i think you can just email CEM directly to explain and ask for extension, just make sure you provide evidence and documents to support your claim. sa mga nabasa ko dati eh seems considerate naman ang CEM to situations na di talaga maiwasang may konteng delay. i did email CEM twice dati and so far in a week or so eh i got my reply, ngemail ako nun directly to MANILIMMIGRATION @ international.gc.ca instead of via case specific inquiry (link below). hope this helps po and don't worry too much, you're halfway there..

Hello Myapp. CEM is unpredictable. Different applicants have different experiences with the response of CEM and/or ECAS updates. Am also waiting for TLU /MR.
Wait lng tyo dadating din ang time natin..Nakakakaba talaga lalo na pagnababasa natin sa forum na maraming nang nagka-update or nabigyan ng MR. Only GOD knows kung ano ang status ng application natin. Keep your faith and pray tyo parati

Hindi nagreply ang CEM sa request for extension namin. Basta dumating na lang ang PPR at kahapon ay dumating na rin ang PP with visa.Maiintindihan naman ng CEM kung bakit hindi mo agad maipapasa. Good luck sa atin
