Hi Cykaraky! Better to renew your passport now. 2 weeks lang naman ang passport renewal vs 30 days na binibigay ni CEM to submit passports.

Mahirap kasi na baka abutan ka ng 6 month validity for travelling saka ang ibibigay lang ng CEM is 1 year validity from your medical exam. So kung January ka nag pa medical, January 2016 ang VISA expiry mo pero since mag e-expire ng May 2016 yung passport baka ang ibigay sayo is less than 1 year. Baka magahol ka sa preparation etc.

You cannot give your present passport to CEM kasi bubutasan na ng DFA yung old mo. Hindi mo na siya magagamit. Di puwede more than 1 ang passport

Guys, need your help please.

I am currently working abroad so yung police clearance ko nandito and yung nbi ko naman iniwan ko sa pinas. Ok lang ba na magsend sa CEM nang magkaibang package? Based kasi sa instruction, submit documents by one method only and sending documents through duplicate or multiple channels will result in processing delays. I'm in MR stage na but they requested for my police clearances since di ko sya nasama sa initial application ko.

Nag renew ako before medicals, 1 year pa validity nung nagrenew pero at the time of medicals, 7 months na lang.

Guys, for those who are in SG and sent their passports to CEM via fedex, kailangan ba na may commercial invoice? FedEx said dadaan daw kasi ng customs and since it is a passport (not a normal document), it should have a value. Lagyan ko lang daw kahit S$10 yung commercial invoice. Thanks.

Exactly our situation, dahil andito kmi s sg matagal ang processing ng renewal of passport.
Ung visa namin is valid until 10 Dec 2015, kaso since myhusband's pp will expire on 23 Mar 2016, I believe they will shorten the validity to Sept 2015. Kaya plan namin is Aug kmi magfly to canada after p namin magtender ng resignation dito.

Question po sa mga seniors, ask ko lang po kc they required personal history of my husband kasi we have declared that unemployed sya since 2005-2014..actually hnd nmn tlga sya unemployed kasi hindi lang namin alam kung san nya namisplaced ung mga COEs nya from his previous employers..since nagmamadali kami sa pag-apply ko unemployed nalang ginawa namin..CEM is asking detailed personal history nya..do u think we should declare it now n nagwork tlga sya and ask for another COEs from his employers?

My application was received last December 10, 2014, and I received my PER last February 26, 2015. I think it's too early for an MR to arrive this time. Sooner or later, God will provide our needs. For those who are waiting, let's all have patience and continue praying to GOD. ;D :-*
