Ako twice na ako nakakuha ng NBI Clearance sa Phil. Embassy Kuala Lumpur. Tama si Blue Butterfly,,,punta ka lang sa Philippine embassy, kung saan ka ngaun...Try to phone them muna then ask yung NBI representative na nakabase jan para may mag assist sa 'yo sa finger print.Kelangan kase witness yan ng NBI and then pipirmahan din kase yan ng NBI representative at magprepare ka lang ng 2 valid 2x2 or passport size photo (1 photo is required, 2nd copy as back-up). Iaattach mo un sa completed form.. For my twice NBI application, wala ako binayaran sa embassy.Take note
.baka perahan ka..hihi....After nyan, ikaw na magpapadala sa pinas, its your choice kung DHL, or etc. Utusan mo kung sino pwede, brother/sister or kamag anak mo. enclose mo lang yung form ang xerox copy ng passport mo, yung page lang ng personal info. mo then samahan mo ng authorization letter stating na yung sister, or etc. na inilagay mo sa letter ay sya ang representative mo na makipagtransact 'till the releasing date ng NBI clearance mo. ..Ganyan lang...PCC fee will be collected at local NBI office kung saan man isasubmit ng representative mo sa pinas. Based sa experience ko, up to 2 weeks if 'HIT' kase sa province lang ako nag-apply..Yun kase ang instruction ng NBI dito at ng representative sa Manila na tinawagan ko before i submitted my application form for PCC..Take note also, in the PCC application form, please use your current address (Abroad!not address in the Philippines)...If you can afford, DHL would be nice. You may want to check if there's any DHL service point nearest to you, that could be a factor that you can receive the cert. earlier than 2 weeks....I hope i help you in a way through my real experience obtaining PCC abroad...Cheers to you kabayan...

P.S. OFW, i would suggest to enclose your Passport copy instead of other valid IDs. You may want also to include copy of your valid visa, just incase tingnan ng NBI..Sa akin, isinama ko though tiningnan lang, checking lang na talagang nasa labas ka ng Pinas. Regards.
