Take note of my post:kengsky17 said:Actually ang dami ko nga problema... I have my WES result showing NURSING ASSISTANT as the major/specialization. Kaya i'm not sure what NOC to use, 3012 or 3233? Sa Canada yata, nursing assistant lang ang equivalent ng educational background ng Nurses dito.
Nurse ako but I'm not working in the hospital. I'm working as a utilization manager/case manager in a healthcare insurance company. Technically, I still work as a nurse only not in bed side. We review patient's clinical info thru fax, we make assessment and determinine approval/denial of inpatient admission. I signed upt with an agency here in the phil (canadian immig. consultancy) and they managed to make some revision on my job description. I'm applying under NOC 3012 registered nurse. My current title is SR Case Management Associate and I just made a JD certificate indicating that the said title is the same as Registered Nurse-Telephonic Nurse. I don't really know if this is acceptable. I'm not even sure if I qualify to apply in as RN because the WES result shows that my specialization is Nursing Assistant.
Can you help me with this, please?
Buong akala ko staff nurse ka sa ospital. Malabo nga sa 3233 yan. Anyway, mukhang you just have to go with 3012. Based on online predictions it will close on the 1st week of December. Pero tingin ko mas maaga. Ipasa mo na yan at isugal mo na kesa yung walang nangyayari.NURSES, TAKE NOTE:
The NOC code employment requirements of HRSDC does not have bearing in the FSW process. What is stated in the HRSDC website are the Canadian standards and this does not apply to other countries. This has been proven and discussed several times in the international threads. What is important is the job description. Even the job title is not that important. IOs will use the JD found at the HRSDC website to match your description to what you claim your NOC code is. This style has been successfully done by several people in the IT NOCs wherein there are overlapping JDs (like 2174, 2173, etc)
A good example is roman 4:21's case; A 3011 (nurse co-ordinators and supervisors) applicant who has a WES degree equivalent of 2 years diploma (specialty: nurse assistant). She has just received MR last week
