For those who have there Visa's already or is already in Canada, how did you move your funds there or if you are about to migrate already, does anyone have any idea how to go about it?

I know there is no problem bringing more than 10,000 dollars to Canada. But the problem is with Manila customs and immigration, because per ruling you are only allowed to bring outside Philippines $10K max, has anyone experience declaring it at Manila, where you taxed, harassed? or can someone suggest how to transfer it without bringing the funds on hand? Thanks.

Also, FYI, upon landing to Canada you have to bring or show Canada immigration the fund requirement for your family size, (eg. for family of 4 CAD$21,971).

hello sir ang pagkakaintindi ko po is total and and readily transferrable asset kung halimbawa need mo 480k as proof of fund combined na cash and assets ready for liquidation. pede naman cguro mabawasan ang funds habang antay pa ang PER pero once dumating na and nasa visa office dapat di bababa sa required proof sa number ng family.

So ako lng naman ang nag apply and wat i submitted as my proof of fund is 530k laman account ko. Kaso lagi ko binabawasan now its only 470k maapektuhan ba application k? Will 470k be enuf na as proof of fund plus i submitted my car as an assest? Help me pls.

bale sa proof of funds mo sir 470k pesos (11,750$CAD) + present value ng Car mo pero sa website nila dpat tlga good as cash and ready na dalhin sa Canada,. i think sobra na yun sa required 11,824CAD. ok lang naman for now mabawasan basta pag nanghingi sila ng updated copy equivalent or more than siya sa 11,824CAD.

wala pa ko sa part na yan sir antay pa ng document transfer,pero i think yung VO ang magscrutinize ng documents na sinend mo sa CIC, baka hingan ka nila ng updated Bank statement on the later part of the application, kaya mas maganda prepared and dapat hindi biglaan ang pagdeposit sa account baka ma red flag. antay tayo ng comments ng mga seniors.

Cic assess your app based on the documents you submitted. Later on VO may ask you to submit additional documents. Isa lang ang pof. Basta ready lng majustify yung source of funds for your inflows. God bless.

Yes. CIC will base it on the docs you sent. But later on, manila VO may ask you to submit proof on how you got your funds.
