Good day everyone,

Got my Medical instructions and forms today. ;D ;D ;D

I'm planning to send additional required documents soon and also wanted to update CEM my new mailing address and passport.

I have the following queries :
1. To those who have done this before, would CEM ask to update form IMM-0008E? or the letter updating them with the changes and attaching a copy of the passport would do na?
2. Wanted to change my mailing address to here in my company in Saudi Arabia so that when they return the passport with visa later after PPR(Claim na natin to, ) eh derecho na dito sa akin sa Saudi. I'm expecting
some travels kasi kaya kelangan mabilis makabalik. Would there be any issues with this na icchange ko to other country ang mailing add?

bro, medyo delikado ang route na gagawin mo.. i have read somewhere in this forum also, after nya mabigyan ng immigrant visa, nagpakasal sya.. and his local vo told him that it's too late to include his wife as his dependent.. he still try to land in canada but eventually refused entry.

on the cover letter of COPR that we received, it is stated also na your visa is valid only if all family members (including common law partner) have been declared and examined..

so what can i advise is, kung hindi mo sya maisama sa processing ngaun, try to land muna as PR sa canada then saka kayo pakasal. that would be the best way. mas matagal yes, but this is for your future so dont take chances..

Hi,

I could use some advice. This is my first time and I hope I am doing it right.
Anyone please help clarify. I am applying for FSW with my relationship status as Single. However, I received advice that it will be much difficult to apply for spousal sponsorship when I marry after I get my visa. So my boyfriend and I plan to marry next year. I have submitted my application on October 23 and I am wondering if it is possible to change my relationship status before I receive my visa next year ( I am being positive I am assuming PER next year)? Will I be asked of any changes on my status prior granting of visa? and what happens next if I submit additional/change in my relationship status? How much time do I wait before I receive a visa with my new status? Grin

This was my dilemma too.
Yes it is still possible. Wait for PER (you will receive this from CEM), then from there update your status.

If you can marry NOW then you may, para pagdating ng docs mo sa CEM may mapprovide ka na documets such us marriage cert etc. We all know certificates here will take a while to produce.

As for us who already receive PPR, CEM included a clause "Do you intend to marry/separate/divorce prior to becoming a Permanent Resident? " and if your answer is yes, then they will call/email you and will ask for add'l documents for your spouse.

Please be noted that all expense will be doubled. Meaning you have to pay RPRF for 2 persons and Settlement funds for 2 persons. So if this is really your plan, then might as well as produce these as early as now.


I backed out on this for a simple personal reason that I don't wanna rush our marriage.
If yours are already planned out from the start, then why not? go for it!

Thanks manila_kbj. Akala ko noon mahirap na ung paghihintay ng unang sign which is ung charge sa cc. pero ngaun na alam mo na charge na ung cc parang mas grabe ung paghihintay na may PER na. I wonder kaya ano next nito? hahaha.

Nga pala, tanung lang. May possibilities ba na wala matatanggap na PER pero na charge na ung cc/dd?

May case sa global akala nya wala na sya. Nagulat sya diretso na mr. Mukhang di nya natanggap per nya. Prro basically pag nacharge k formality n lang ang per. Ang next action mo talaga after ng initial submission e yung medical at kung may afditional docu. Hintay lang kaunti kabayan. Parating na din ang next steps naten. God bless

Meron po bang nakaexperience sa inyo na hindi dumating yung medical forms within 72 hours after your MR mail? As per my MR mail kasi it will be sent separately within 72 hours pero until now wala pa din akong narereceive na forms. Nakaschedule pa naman ako for medical on Thursday.

Antay lang po tayo. Check nyo din ung Spam mail nyo baka andun cia.
That's just their estimated AND template na sabihing 72 hours, but in reality they will email it kung kelan nila gusto..

You can always reschedule your medical. Just wait for it.

Ragus10, ako din ung option 1 ang suggested kong gawin mo dahil you can justify na same month sya pero magkasunod na araw lang. Like April 5, 2008 end of Batangas then April 6, 2008 start Taiwan. Yun din ginawa ko.
