Hello guys,

I hold diploma and B.Tech in engineering. I am also done with my WES evaluation which says Canadian equivalency is Bachelors degree (4 years).

Additionally they have also evaluated my Diploma in engineering which is of 4 years. And in Evaluation result of Diploma....they have mentioned as "Secondary school diploma and Diploma(2 years)".

According to Educational point claiming information provided on CIC website, it states that you can claim 22 points if having two or more post secondary degrees or diploma.

Should consider myself getting 22 points for education?

Received my passport with the visa and the COPR just a few minutes ago.

Congrats to my batchmates ppmom, vncntybnz, A-cheng and sa lahat ng nakareceive narin ng visa. Ang dami na kasi, I couldn't keep track.

Here are my details for the spreadsheet update:

Passport received at VO: October 24
Decision made in ECAS: October 30
Visa received date: November 10

hello po.. sa pagkakaintindi ko sa process ng visa nyo... umabot lang ng 6 months ang process from the time na napasa ung application hanggang sa nakarecv na kayo ng visa???? wow.. ang galing naman.... congrats po sa inyo....

ganon po pala... tinanong ko po kasi sa napakagaling kong agent yan eh.. wag ko na raw po ideclare kasi elem at high school docs lang naman daw ang ganun ang last name ko... very good...

Yung sa kanya hindi din dineclare eh, pero nasa birth certificate kasi nya na na-correct yung Middle name nya before. Nagulat lang din kami na nirequest yung NBI Clearance using both (correct and incorrect) of his Middle names hehehe. Madali naman kumuha so no need to worry.

i am sure na di sa pof yankasi sa akin is 975k lng pag apply ko. nag email ka na sa cio?

nag-email ako first sa Manilo VO - Case Specific Inquiry. I stated facts pero nagreply sila na isend ko daw inquiry ko sa CIO NS since dun nareceive. Nakacopy ang CIO NS sa reply nila tapos nag reply to all ako para magfollow-up din sa CIO NS. Kaso wala pa ako natanggap reply from CIO.

i am still positive pa rin naman kasi sabi ng agent ko wala naman daw returned application up to now. Kasi usually rejected tanggap na nila ang apps nila. waiting din ako sa feedback ng BPI kung na encash ba yung DD ko.

Sana lang magkaroon ng kahit konting update pag nagreply na ang BPI. Congrats sa inyo.

Yung sa kanya hindi din dineclare eh, pero nasa birth certificate kasi nya na na-correct yung Middle name nya before. Nagulat lang din kami na nirequest yung NBI Clearance using both (correct and incorrect) of his Middle names hehehe. Madali naman kumuha so no need to worry.

Now i get CEM pointnof view... They just wanted to make sure na walang criminal liability under that incorrect name.

So pupunta ako NBI dala ko yung birth certificate ko? Scanned copy lang po ok na?.. Ano po palalabasin nila sa NBI clearance ko? RUBEN is non existent? Thanks po..

Aside from the usual requirements in applying for NBI Clearance, pinakita din niya yung letter ng embassy (MR/additional docs request) na nagrerequest na dapat mag-appear yung pareho mong names. Ilalagay nila yun sa "AKA" (alias). Ang lalabas dun is no derogatory record ka kahit yung isang name pa din ang gamit mo. Better din if you bring your birth certificate.

hi! Ive just sent the explanation letter on POF with supporting docs to CEM via LBC. My question, should I email CEM on this matter and would it be okay kaya to follow up on it at the end of the week kung wala silang communication na isend sa akin? Nakakapraning talaga ito. Yes pwede naman pag nirequest na nila sayo kasi 30 days naman yung binigay samin ng CEM nun to comply. Basta walang "hit" yung names mo makukuha mo naman agad. Saang docs mo ba nakalagay yung other name mo? Kasi kung wala ka naman yatang isasubmit na docs na nandun yung other name, baka hindi ka na hingian kasi hindi naman yata nila malalaman yun.

malalaman po kasi nasa birth certificate ko po eh. 2 pages po yung birth cert ko. first page eh yung birth cert ko na may nakasulat na "pls see attachment". ang 2nd page po eh yung court decision na ipinapawalang bisa na yung adoption.

siguro po mas maganda kung kumuha na po ako bukas.. baka kasi po makapag work muna sa uae eh wala na pong mag aasikaso ng papers ko...
