Forum-mates! Confirm ko lang if tama ang gagawin ko re: Cem's request for explanation and supporting docs for proof of funds. I drafted a letter saying that it's purely from me and my husband's savings from work salaries earned since 2009 (when I first started to work and the bank account was opened). It is not a joint account with my hubby. Sa akin lang nakapangalan. I will be enclosing bank statement from Dec 2013 to present, a new bank certificate stating the ending balance, payslips and itr ko at ni hubby. May naisip pa ba kayo na pwedeng ilagay? May 2 bank accounts pa kami pero di ko dineclare yon sa app ( 1 in my name and the other kay hubby nakapangalan) isasama ko pa ba ito? May pwede o nakalimutan pa ba ako na supportong documents? Thanks in advance ha! Medyo praning lang

You might want to consider having ITR and payslips if you have had other jobs before. One thing an officer might think kasi is where did you get the other funds from before Dec2013??

If your total needed settlement funds does not equate to the amount on your bank from dec2013 to present, they might think something else kung saan mo kinuha ung pera.

If you are earning that much and you can provide the entire sum of your settlement funds from dec2013 to present then i think there is no question from there..

Isama nyo na din po even the ones you did not declare before just for supporting doc. Just make sure it has info on the date when it was opened..

I just received an email from CEM asking for bank statements and an explanation of my proof of funds. i have sent to CIC before only a bank certificate. So now they want bank statements and explanation of the source of fund. Should i send bank statements from the date I applied up to now? Or 6 mos before my date of application? Pls help!

Hi, I received a same email from CEM, un money po s proof of funds ko bigay ng father ko.In reality naman kasi I can't produce that kind of amount base s salary ko. What po kaya dapat ko gawin? Ung money is nasa acount ko Lang naman . Namghihingi sila ng explanation if about s funds and history of accumulation daw.
Any advice po please ?

Baka hiniram mo lang yun sa iba or you would have had it from 'unlawful acts' ika nga...

Just thinking like an officer.
kung pasok naman ung total sum sa sweldo nyo both, then no need to say that..

Just provide everything and you should be good to go!

Yes idid send my payslips.

They said that my employment income is not commensurate to my declared funds. I did not provide an explanation for the source of and history of accumulation of these funds.

They also said that I need to info regarding my funds and That I include a written explanation supported by verifiable documents pertaining to the source of my funds as well as its history of accumulation.

I agree with Andy. Think like an officer. Paano mo maju-justify ang wedding gifts? They will think that it is just an excuse.
