Good morning brother. I need your opinion buddy. I recently applied for fsw.

I have 3 experiences..

1. Volunteer experience for about 10 months

2. Paid experience for 5 month

3. Paid experience for 4.2 years.


My question is.. I made a cover letter stating that I am only claiming points in my latest experience which is 4.2 years.... And the last 2 experience is a generic employment letter not the cic experience letter they are requiring.... Would that be ok?


Lastly, with regard to my volunteer experience.. My letter is telling my start date until present.... I am very anxious that there should be an end date to it... However, I am not claiming points for it . do you think I need to update it and send an additional letter to cio. My app received date is oct 7'

In order to work at CIO you should have above average IQ. They will analyze your case based on logic. Relax and wait for PER.

Hi everyone! Just letting you know I received PPR today! ECAS third line updated last Nov. 2. My KSA police clearance was also waived!

Hi. Just would like to ask, did everyone ger their applications delivery signed by anyone from CIC when you sent it? I keep on seeing posts mentioning names of those who supposedly signed the delivery of their application. Mine was delivered August 27 , according to DHL, but there was no name beside the "Signed by:" line. I'm just worried that it might not have been delivered. Thank you.

Hi Wi, i believe your looking at the website of DHL and indicating your tracking #. Pareho po tayo, sa website walang signed by from the receiver. What i did is called the customer service of DHL and told her my tracking #. She/he can tell you the one who signed and received your package. Baka cguro security reasons din why they don't show it sa website.. Mine was signed by Doug.

Hi Wi, i believe your looking at the website of DHL and indicating your tracking #. Pareho po tayo, sa website walang signed by from the receiver. What i did is called the customer service of DHL and told her my tracking #. She/he can tell you the one who signed and received your package. Baka cguro security reasons din why they don't show it sa website.. Mine was signed by Doug.

hi cel_mmm! yes, you have to call your bank kasi minsan may tagging sila. just inform them to allow your international transaction from CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION FSW SY CA para sigurado.

Expiration ng passport ko is on Aug 2015..pwede ko na ba i-renew although I haven't receive any feedback yet?
Para ready na pag may PPR na (Im claiming it! )
Just in case I will renew na, new passport number na ba ang gamitin ko pag nag pa medical ako?
I read from this forum kasi na kailangan ang passport sa medical.

@cel_mmm: I called up DFA my passport will expire sept. 2015 and they said I can renew the passport even if it will expire next year.
I read from st. luke's medical website http://www.slec.ph/canada-visa-applicants.shtml#required-docs

If the applicant has no passport, the following identity documents are accepted:

Seaman's book
Driver's license
Unified Multi-purpose (UMID) ID
Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) ID
Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) ID
Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) ID
Social Security System (SSS) card
laminated COMELEC Voter's ID
