lol. ok, thanks for the explanation. yes, i did everything on my own. somehow, i don't trust agencies because i feel they're just trying to milk money. i tried a free online consultation once, and the representative told me i could apply while all of the other agencies said i couldn't. i also thought i wasn't qualified that time because my occupation was not on the list.Sureluck said:hi Becky, CIC here is not the CIO.
Okay to clarify, CIC is our consultancy firm and our representative who is a canadian lawyer was suspended in Aug. because of that, CIO has stopped sending PERs to representative's email but instead they send it via snail mail for us clients of CIC. although i heard for some, PERs landed on their personal email...not sure why it was selective.
am not sure though if CIO really sends snail mail PERs but anyway, that is our case under CIC consultancy. Are you DIY? well, good for you if yes.
may i ask how much you paid your agency? i inquired once with ixpvisas/globalvisas, and they were asking for P100,000. well, it was more of a job placement agency. but i've read some reviews that it's a scam.Sureluck said:hi Becky, CIC here is not the CIO.

CIC has already advised MVO on the change of representative. They also sent an email last month informing their clients on the changes and we were asked to sign an updated rep form for that reason.BeckyDavis said:lol. ok, thanks for the explanation. yes, i did everything on my own. somehow, i don't trust agencies because i feel they're just trying to milk money. i tried a free online consultation once, and the representative told me i could apply while all of the other agencies said i couldn't. i also thought i wasn't qualified that time because my occupation was not on the list.
i'm also obsessive-compulsive, so no matter how tedious and meticulous the document gathering and form completion was, i somehow enjoyed doing them.
well, i hope you can iron things out with your representative.
its 75k more or less .. i heard others are higher than that.BeckyDavis said:may i ask how much you paid your agency? i inquired once with ixpvisas/globalvisas, and they were asking for P100,000. well, it was more of a job placement agency. but i've read some reviews that it's a scam.
