hi cadream. i read somewhere na importante ung validity date na nakatatak sa passport mismo, so im not sure if pwede ung i-eextend lng, but lets wait sa reply and confirmation ng iba nating kaFSW.

passport ng daughter namin nrenew na namin 4 months ago, old passport nya mageexpire supposedly sa Jan2016 and we have her new passport on hand na. Just last month (last week ng July) kakarenew lng din namin ng passports namin ni misis kasi sabay magexpire ung old passports namin sa Nov2016. we don't have the new passports yet on hand, sakin mkukuha ko this October, sa kanya naman mid Sept since sa Pilipinas sya nagparenew while I renewed mine dito SG. I suggest you renew now while MR stage ka pa, may rush option naman ata sa Pilipinas if it favors you. If here in SG, you can email the embassy for an earlier date after you schedule your appointment online, bigay mo lng reason na may ongoing immigrant application ka and nasa MR stage ka na and just wait for their response to accommodate your request. hope this helps po.

I have registered for the CIIP pre-departure orientation and I have now an e-mail with the dates I must attend, may I ask those who have gone thru this how do I confirm my invitation? Should I just reply to the email or do I have to go to CIIP website and confirm it from there?

The dates given to me are on October 19th and 20th, if any of you are also scheduled in these days, see you there then

hi.. we have the same schedule for the ciip. all you need to do is to confirm and reply to their email that you are attending on the date theyve provided. see you there!

Hello everyone! Visa on hand na po kami last Friday 21 august. This is after almost a month of my PPR. last stage na pinaghintay pa kami ng SGVO pagkatagal. But who am i to complain? God is good! Visa issue date namin is 31 July 2015. Expiry is 15 June 2016 (which is expiry date ng passport ko). I didn't have a chance to renew my passport na since matagal magpa appointment sa SG. Ok lang naman daw magdala ng 2 passports.
My husband being the principal applicant will land first September 30. Cathay via HK to Toronto $790 USD. We booked through St Raphael.

Mga ka forum, nned your advise... My spouse and child's passport will expirw on Sept. 2016. God willing, we would have our visa by March 2016. That is 6 months from date of their passport expiry. Di ba when you travel . The passport should be valid for at least 6 months. So, shall I renew their passport now or wait for CEM to ask for our passport first? Just got the second line update yesterday and they say MR email takes usually 5-12 days...I want to be proactive to avoid future delays. Thanks in advance sa mag re reply.

Yes please get it renewed as early as possible. If your PPR come before collecting their pp is either (2)Get an extension and submit it to CEM or (2) request for the PPR due date to be extended with supporting documents CEM normally grant such request. For the option 1, here in SG it is viable as we are still holding our pp while waiting for our renewed pp not sure the timeline back home

Do we need to inform our VO pag may changes sa bank details? Sa application kasi namin, under proof of funds, we submitted 2 bank accounts:
1. Joint account namin mag-asawa
2. My personal bank account

The joint account we moved to another bank, so closed na sya ngayon. Do we need to update SGVO?

I think no need po. Unless they request updated POF pero so far SGVO doesn't really request for this anymore.
