Hindi ko alam na may phone interviews din pala. Under what circumstances nila ginagawa ito and at what stage of the application process?

thanks pre, yun yung problema ko eh. i will be going to either toronto or vancouver alone and not knowing absolutely anyone!

secondly, when you say they got their jobs? did you mean survival jobs like fastfood crew, or call center tech support? or is it a professional job that is similar to their previous position?

siguro nga advantage satin na walang mga regulations for certifying our skills since yung skills natin kailangan ma-display during interview exams na. kaya medyo nag-iisip ako kung baka yung mga horror stories eh sa mga visible immigrants na makapal ang accent sa ingles tapos hindi familiar sa culture ng north america ang galing dun. kaya gusto ko rin ma-confirm kung ganun rin ba nangyayari sa mga pinoy sa canada.

Wala pa naman ako dun and still waiting for MR, but nasa IT field din ako (not programming) and I share the same sentiments as you. I have some IT friends who landed there recently and found their jobs within a reasonable amount of time, im saying 5 days after landing, one after a month or so, and another a couple of months later after landing; they used every possible tool for job hunting like referral, job bank, etc.; not the ideal job they had in mind maybe but just enough to get them started and going, and ung iba moved on to their 2nd job na in search for the job which matches their skill set. depende lng cgro sa diskarte and network of people you know and people you will still know, tsaka more patience and determination/motivation to find the job you really want, and of course lots and lots of prayers and faith kay Lord. Madami factors to consider and we can expect life to be tougher there, but eventually it will all be worth it. kahit pa cgro ibang bansa plan natin mgmigrate, we can only do one thing and that is to equip ourselves with anything na we think will help us establish a better life when we get there, as no one can really tell whats our future gonna be like. Kung iisipin mas mahirap pa nga yata for those na nasa mga regulated ung profession kasi they need to register and wait some time, ang tiaga at hirap that comes with it, yet they made it through and living the life they wished for.

siguro most if not all in this forum also have that fear of the unknown and uncertainty, specially dun sa mga buong family pa talaga ang kasama mgmmigrate (like me), but thats the risk we all are willing to take to give our family a better life, and best that we can possibly offer them. we only need one really good/positive reason to choose Canada (or another country you intend to migrate), and the rest of all the negative remarks and stories you hear I rather ignore. more flexible namn ang IT and its everywhere, provinces you mentioned have more opportunity for IT, so you shouldn't worry too much and just prepare your self for battle.. lets get it on!! hehe

When they start processing your application, anytime before or after MR stage ang interview requests. Posts of other forum members say most interviews are requested before MR coz most of the background checks are done here, where a visa officer might want to clarify some information. Some bg checks though are completed after MR na so kung may clarifications ulit pwde pa mainterview. Mostly for cem, POF explanation ata ang trigger for interviews base sa mga nagpost ng experience nila ah. Iba naman job description vs. noc matching, or anything in the application which the visa officer is not convinced or can't understand. =)

Ok na yung IT infra sa mga provinces nmention mo pre. but where there is opportunity, there is competition. and im saying competition from all races all over the world, halo-halo na from all languages. so everything we know, skills natin and work experiences alone, will not guarantee us a good life in a foreign land.

jobs i mean a week of being a community volunteer (no pay), tas got a part time job as call agent, 2-3 weeks later finally got hired sa IT na talaga as NOC 2281. kailangan lng cgro flexible tayo, and thats what we Filipinos are known for kaya ang galing-galing natin! guess ang mga tanong lng talaga is how far are we willing to go, how much are we willing to sacrifice and willing to do to achieve our goals; kasi we will never know talaga what our life's gonna be till we get there and experience it first hand.

Di ako nagcheck kahapon at inisip ko baka next week na mauupdate kasi bakasyon CEM.

Ngpakuha po ako ng saudi police clearance s husband ko nung November 2014, andto n po ako s Pinas, tpos ng ask po ang LVO ng PCC un po ang pinass nmin..ok lng po b un d po b mgkkproblema s application nmin..ngaalala po kc ako..thanks po s mkksagot.

No need to worry. As long as wala ka na sa saudi nung nakuha mo. Merong iba dito lumang pcc from middle east ang pinasa, tinaggap naman. Ako ang pinasa ko sa app ko,expired na pcc from mid east. Nilagyan ko na lang ng explanation na hindi na bumalik dun nung nakuha yung pcc.
