Repost ko ulit, just in case anyone needs a detailed instruction on how to get fingerprinting done in Cantonment for NBI Clearance:
With regarding NBI Clearance, if you are unable to get immediate schedule with Phil Embassy for fingerprinting, you can go to SPF sa Cantonment to have your fingerprints done with them. Here's the procedure:
1.Go to Phil Embassy, to get the NBI Fingerprint form
2. Go to SPF sa Cantonment (2pm-5pm) for fingerprinting - $15
3. Go back to Phil Embassy with the NBI Fingerprint form and Picture for them to put the itsy bitsy stamp seal - $42.50
4. Courier the NBI fingerprint form and authorisation letter back to your representative in the Philippines to process the NBI clearance
5. Have them courier it back to you.
Hope you find this helpful Smiley
By the way, just an advise to our beloved friends in this forum. Processing of NBI Clearance is quite straight forward na naman with all the available instruction/resources found online. Just let your representative process it directly, hwag na dumaan pa sa mga walker. Dito ako nagkamali, and here is where my story start...
I have a friend who also needed to renew her NBI Clearance, so sinabay ko na yung NBI Clearance namin (mine and husband's) with her since she said she wil have her sister process it for us. Kampante ako knowing that her sister in the Philippines is an attorney. So there we go, paid for the courier and clearance fee plus additional "thank you" tip for the sister for handling our NBI Clearance renewal. Unfortunately, what I didn't know was that they asked a walker inside of NBI to handle our application. My friend's application together with my husband was processed fine, but they had to delay mine. When my husband's application reached us, mali ang address. I called the walker in NBI asking for a reprint. I also asked him to check MY NBI Clearance if the address was correct, and of course, mali din ang address. I told him to have it reprinted. Ang daming excuse ni kuya, kung ano ano ang hinihingi, nag hint na i need to pay P500, otherwise, nothing can be done. In the back of my head, i was thinking, renewal of NBI Clearance only costs P115 and the address on my application form was correct. Mali lang sila ng pag type sa clearance. Well to cut the story short, after several calls and texts, I gave up and told him "Sige mag aabot na po ako ng P500 para mapadali ang lahat." Lo and behold, like magic, our clearances were suddenly made available the next day.
Hayyy... ang Pinas talaga... at least I'll have my NBI Clearance sent back to me soon para PPR naman ang hihintay ko pag ka submit sa visa office.
