Any idea where I can get NOC 2172 (FSWP 2014) applications received/accepted and CAP fulfillment status?

It looks CIC link regarding application status is not available after 1st Jan 2015.

Hi Forumites,

Just an update from my side for 2172 Application Fillled on 15 Dec 2014.

Just now I called CIC seeking the UCI number( I told that I need the UCI number for my express entry profile), the agent told me that they are not allowed to share the UCI number and asked me If he can help me in any other manner. Then i asked for status of my application, the agent asked me few questions to verify my identity and then told that
He can see that there is an application filed by me on 12 Jan under express entry program, but nothing further.

He tried again and then confirmed that they have received my file for NOC 2172( I hadn't shared the NOC till this conversation with him) on 12th Dec( though DHL confirmed the delivery on 15th Dec 2014 at my end). He advised me to reach out to central intake office.

He told me that he will be sharing the contact details via an email to my email id(which again he confirmed from the system)

To summarize, 2172 applications have been opened till 12 Dec(date of my application confirmed by CIC agent, and 15 Dec by DHL) which means 2172 is not capped for sure till 12/15 Dec.

2172 Guys, do call CIC and share what you hear,...
 
Hi All,

My application under NOC 21172 was filed on Dec 23, 2014. Just today I got an email from my immigration advisor saying that the application was returned since NOC 2172 cap was already reached. I'm surprised at how this could have happened? According to CIC records, only 272 applications had been filed till then. I'm baffled at how it could have filled up so soon??

If anyone has experienced a similar situation, please let me know.

I filed my application which was received on Dec 17th under NOC 2172 . Till now no update. What is the number to call to CIC to know application status?
Getting tense as I heard that applications are returning

Hi,

here's the info

Call on 1-613-944-4000. (International number) Try with Skype or magic jack (free calls to Canada)
Use options 1 1 1 Line will be transferred to CIO.
Use options 1 1 3 1
You will be asked application number thrice. Do not enter anything.
Line will be transferred to a CIC call centre officer..

Ask for the UCI number giving the reasons why you want the same.
They will ask you some details which you need to provide.
If you are lucky you might just get the UCI number.

I called them several times but got "all the lines are busy" in the end

Please share if you manage to reach them.

I just called the canada immigration following the instructions you provided.
He said that he dont have any info regarding the application. He said the process that first they will open the applications and check for completeness, if its not complete they will return the application else they will start processing the application and they will generate a file no and email us the information. There is no other way to know except to wait till getting the email or application back. This year applications in Nov and December are huge as FSW programme is going to end, it will take some more time an dhe dont know even the NOC cap is filled or not as the FSW programme is ended.

Keeping fingures crossed and waiting............
Once again thanks for the info provided to call to immigration

Both caps reached (2172 sub cap and Global Cap)
CIC was able to accept apps received on or before 10-Dec-2014;after this subcap reached first for 2172;

Mine was 16-DEC app received date ; got mine back from CIC on 27-Feb-2015 ; reason for return: Subcap reached for NOC 2172
