Dear Sherdills,
Many thanks for your prompt reply. I think I will do that, I just need to figure out the email address of my VO.

I also have another concern, in the email they sent me for the file number, there was a spelling mistake in one of my middle names: just a "r" was put instead of an "e". Do you think I should correct this now? Or maybe since the visa will be generated using passport data which has the correct spelling so it is not a big deal?

Best Regards,

Dear - Please don't assume any thing and don't do corrections on your own. Bring this into CIC attention and ask them to send you corrected documents. (Mention your file number in the subject)
Once LVO starts communication, you'll be having the email address of your VO, please be patient and wait for it.
Regards
Inam

Dear Moayad Diab

You ll have to wait for three months approx to get a response from CIC if your application package is complete and meeting the initial criteria. The process will take some time; you have to be very patient in this regard. Good Luck

Hi 2145 buddies,
I am intent to apply under 2145 too. I was the field engineer of SLB for the past six years.
Similar to the cementing engineer, my job description can hardly match the 2145 listed title and duties.
However similar to cementing, coil tubing engineer, etc, we are holding equal responsibility like others (drilling, logging) but different discipline and technology.
My background was bachelor civil engineering and master management engineering and science.
In my case, should I apply under 2145? Can any of you similar to my case already qualified by CIC share some experience of making reference letter.
Thanks a lot.

If your designation matches to any of the vailable title under NOC 2145, you are good to go. However you have to apply through express entry

Thanks for your response. :)
It's true I will apply through EE. seems the only option now.
When I receive the draft reference letter from my supervisor, will post the duties onto here and consult your opinions.
indeed, testing engineer is not in the example titles in 2145. I think same problem exist to the cementing engineer etc.....

I would suggest to cross check for the NOC you can apply for. I know many of my friends who went thru the process with similar experience; but all of them were having degree in pet engg. For sure; your experience comes under the eligibity.

Sherdills,
Thanks a lot for the encourage. :)
Do you mind to introduce me one or two of your friends with similar experience, such as cementing engineer, coil tubing engineer, stimulation/fracturing engineer or testing engineer who applied the FSW as 2145?
There is not much I can do to change my study background. I am just wondering how the reference letter was drafted for these engineers to be considered as NOC 2145.
Many many thanks.

Also, I worked for same employer in 3 different countries in the past five years.
This occasion will one reference letter covers all three periods or has to make three reference letters from all locations?
Thanks.
