As you know the state of A.P has bifurcated and citizens from Hyderabad/nearby regions come under the Telangana State. has any one faced any problem with the immigration dept when entering Canada ? Has any one received any intimation or update regarding how the state change is affecting existing passports and visa's issued before the bifurcation.

Thanks

Why will formation of a new state effect your Canadian Visa ?( unless u have done a new crime ;D ;D in the newly formed state, it wont effect u)

change of state name in passport is the only change as far as i know. But not sure if it is actually mandatory or explicitly needed.

I don't think, it'll be any trouble. As the passport authority is under Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
