I read few of your posts regarding about french proficiency DELF A1&A2 for FSW application in some posts you asked about submitting DELF proficiency instead of TEF.
Iam FSW1 applicant shortage of 1 point for 67 points and passed DELF A1&DELF A2&TEFAQ and submitted already but don't know visa officer accept it or not.

please suggest me about my situation.

Have u got 2nd AOR letter and wait letter (6 to 12 months) ?

If anyone is yes, it mean ur assessment is already done and u have pass the eligibilty

If u were short of points, ur application would have been rejected long back.

I got my degree of BS Accountancy 8 years ago but dont have the license. Have you already submitted your educational credentials for assessment yet (ECA)? If so, can you share to me the process, I am planning to submit our application first week of January 2014 since I believe ECA takes about 2-3 months right. Please advsie.

By the way, currently, I'm a Financial Data Analyst for two years now, you think I'm qualified under the FSW program?

Once I send the package, do they check and verify the contracts with the Ministry of Labour of my country ? As some contracts are internships, in my country interns dont pay taxes so they dont have any kind of records.

They don't verify the job contracts with government authorities
If they have concern regarding ur job duties, they will directly contact ur company
The chances are very rare for job verification

In a single occupation means that is mandatory to have been working for the same company one year? If I have worked 6 months in one company and 6 months in another one that only counts for the second year or it would also meet the criteria for the one year single occupation?

If u r working in finance field for 6 month in 2 different companies, it will be considered for processing.
If u have worked 6 months in finance and 6 months in sales field, then they will not process ur application

Hello Coolguy, experts / seniors,

No. of applications accepted under NOC-1112 as of 29/7/13 is 131 Nos. I feel maximum cap of 300 nos may reach any day of first 2 weeks of Aug13. Can anybody throw some vague light as to applications received upto which date, this no. of 131 is reached. I am awaiting my WES Report, the evaluation of which would get over in 1 or 2 days as per status of my application on WES site. I might receive the report in next 4 to 5 days (opted for international express courier). Other documents are already ready. I would like to make DD ready. Where this DD shall be payable at (specify whether it is Toronto, NovoScotia or simply at Canada or someother location). Moreover, should I go ahead of submitting completed application (latest by 10th of Aug) or should I wait for next year. Some guidance is required based on your past experience.

'The term "landed immigrant" is an old classification for a person who has been admitted to Canada as a non-Canadian citizen permanent resident. The current official classification for such a person is simply "permanent resident"

-My father got the landed immigration visa in 1970, he worked for 5 years until 1975 and went back to Spain. Can he renew his Visa permit?

-In case he can renew it, for me to receive the 5 points from relatives in Canada, as my father would have the permanent resident and is older 18 years, what is the minimum time he has to be in Canada so it would be considered as (living in Canada)?

This is what I found about renewing permanent visas:


Permanent residents as of 28 June 2002 and new permanent residents who did not provide a Canadian residential address, or whose PR Card was lost or stolen, must apply to CIC's processing centre in Sydney, Nova Scotia for a new card. The fee is CAD$50. In these cases, the PR Card must be collected in person at a CIC office in Canada.

The PR Card is normally issued for 5 years. In some circumstances it may be issued for 1 year only.
Possession of a valid PR Card does not ensure that one's permanent resident status will remain valid until the expiry date. In some circumstances - notably where breaches of residence obligations are involved - permanent resident status can be lost before this date.
Similarly, a PR Card's expiration date does not indicate that the holder's status as a permanent resident has expired, or will expire, on that date. It is the date after which the card must be replaced with a new card, if the holder is still a legal permanent resident at that time.

If he has stayed for 5 years, didn't he got citizenship at that time.

Renewal of PR of that old time not possible now (pls double check)
