Hi Everyone,

My application for permanent residence was received on November 13, 2014.

Processing started on January 21, 2015.

My medical was done on June 4th 2015, after then they asked to submit few docs on Jan 27 2016, which were submitted last week of
February 2016.

My medical is about to expire next month as I believe medical is only valid for 1 year and processing time was 16 months which is almost over, any comments on my case ?

Thanks

Vicky Brar

Thnaks for writing and providing me the inofrmation. I was also looking the online Visa aplication form submission, do I need to fill the online application also, but in that there is no option of skilled workers.. or directly need to submit passport ?

Thank you..

Hi brother
No need to fill in any form
Just go to vfs office Chandigarh along with the passports and ppr email
Get the photos clicked there ,pay the fee and that's all
The vfs guys know what to do next
If you are from Chandigarh then you can collect your passport personally after stamping
Regards

I guess CVO is quite again.

Anyone received any update ?

Check your application status in more detail:

Did you know that you can see real time progress of your application by registering at myCIC? Once you register your GCKey account and link your application to that account of yours, it will show your application details like this:

Where is the Application? Details
Application/profile status <Current Status>
Review of eligibility <Current Status>
Review of medical results <Current Status>
Review of submitted documents <Current Status>
Scheduling an interview <Current Status>
A background check is needed <Current Status>
Final decision <Current Status>

For GCKey Sign Up, go to the following link and Continue to GCKey:
www [dot] cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/mycic.asp

Once you have completed your registration, login and proceed to "Link application to this account". Follow the instructions to Link your application to your account, you will need your IELTS Test ID #, in addition to other details, to complete this process.
All the express entry applicants are able to view their application like this by default. Now the paper based applications can be linked to myCIC as well.

Hope this helps.

I had similar issue before .

Also if you have agent or any representative this will not work for you as it will ask you to remove agent from your file . That's message I got :)
