My Medicals is due on 10th October, 2015 (This Saturday). I wanted to make the RPRF payment today, but my consultant advised me not to make the payment until I have my medicals done. This is now worrying me a lot as I'm scared if something goes wrong during medicals.

Hi Amit.. Nothing to be worried about. Its just safer to pay RPRF towards the end (after meds are done and sent by the clinic directly to the consulate). Dont worry..

By the grace of god I have received passport request today and ecas changed to new format too stating decision made.

Thank you all for the support through out and hope everyone gets what they desired soon too.

Will so submission of passport in few days and hope will soon see maple leaf.

Hello friends,

I have encountered a situation, I have got PPR and I have question that does it necessary to send old and new both passport or just new passport is needed.

I applied under fsw with old passport and I also have notified cic about new passport details before medical and I have also done my PCC and medical with my new passport. Issue is my old passport seems lost so just curious whether only new passport is ok or need to send old passport or if it's lost than police complaint report too.

Any inputs are appreciated and thank you in advance.

Bro, They will never ask you old passport, On your new passport at the last page, they have mentioned old passport number and details. Moreover you have updated them with new passport details. Just send new passport and relax. they will never ask you old passport as they know when new passport is issued, old passport gets cancelled stamps!.

I am sorry but I differ on this. I don't remember where i read this but i know it was specifically mentioned somewhere to submit all Passports including old one. I also remember that at the time of submission of my passport to VFS, they took all my passports with the latest one.

In PR case, this may not affect but embassies prefer to have all previously expired passports.

Dear All,

I am happy to tell u all that I received PPR on 08-Oct-2015 around 4.30PM IST.

My Time lines are -

2013 - Applied ; application returned back as they were processing only 300 / year

2014 - sent application on 07-May-2014 - Application returned back on 01-Nov-2014 as my Roles & Responsibilities dint matched the NOC;

2014 - Sent Application again on 13-Nov-2014;
PER - 04-Feb-2015;
23-June-2015: asked to send PCC & RPRF
07-July-2015: asked to send medicals
14-July-2015: Medicals done
25-July-2015: Hospital authorities received a mail to get one more medicals - I got that done on the same day and sent on the same day.
01-Oct-2015: My ECAS updated that the medicals has yet to reach CIC
02-OCt-2015: I raise a complaint to NewDelhi office about my medicals + PCC + RPRF
08-Oct-2015: Received PPR.

After a lot of waiting and struggle I got my PPR.

Now I am trying to get a job from the company I am working as I am the mother of 2 babies and dont want to take a chance. Either My husband will leave in December'15.
