any December applicant got slu or MR in last few days from Colombo visa office?? Please update

Can any one spread some light on why there is differential timeline between applications after AOR was received, where previously had a uniformity in timeline?

A few of my friends who applied along side me we all had a fairly uniform timeline up until we received our AOR

After that CVO hasnt shown any uniformity. The applicants who got AOR after me already have a Medical request and I am still waiting. What could be the reason? Any insights? :o :o :o :o :o :o

My timeline:

App. Date: 10th dec 2014
CC charge: 31st Jan 2015
PER Date : 27th Feb 2015
AOR Date: 24th March 2015

according to immigration experts a certain number of applications are managed by each visa officer.
some work faster and some work slower.
also some officers do background and documents check before requesting medical but some request medical rprf snd pcc and then do the checks.
this could be the reason.

Do they check and verify after sending medical request? ?=optimistic candi link=topic=270711.msg4405541#msg4405541 date=1434609427]

depends on the visa officer.
that's the delay in getting MR after slu in some cases according to immigration experts.
and their speed of assessment varies from official to official.
so far from cvo it's only the documents check. No job verification calls and nothing else.
so stay cool. They are candidate friendly so far.
usually if they requested MR pcc and RPRF it means background and documents check is over.
because in some cases they also request updated bank statement and schedule A form along with the above said. That's pretty much on the document side.
then what's is left is criminal background check which is done before ppr.

This is great to hear that they are candidate friendly so far. However there is a guy who is oct applicant, feb AOR and has not received an update or SLU yet. Do you think in this case, the delay is due to the application in concern or due to the delay in the handling by the case officer?

it could be the delay in assessment because unlike any other visa offices none of the candidates from cvo has received a negative reciprocation from cvo.
these officials are responsible for student visas, spouse visa etc as well.
when they are supposed to process a study visa for a candidate who hss to join the college next month they would process that one first. So a PR file csn be delayed.

don't worry u, my self and many other December applicants are still waiting for SLU and MR...only few lucky December applicants have got MR so need not to panic, I think December applicants wil get SLU and MR in next one or one and a half month or so because currently it seems from update on this forum that they are currently processing November and October files...so all we can do is just wait and watch
