CVO generally respond within a week. However it depends on case specific queries as well.

If your query was regarding the case status update, they might not reply you (remember it was mentioned in the AOR)

Hi...ur and mine timelines are almost same...
Actually my CSE is regarding addition of my dependents and not for case status....one month has elapsed but not getting any reply...what u say

They will not reply to Case enquiry.So I emailed them.Below is the reply.I also didn't receive any email after this

One of my family member's timelines are as follows

App Filed - Dec 10
DD Cashed - Feb 06
PER Received - Mar 02
Original Visa office - NDVO, Hower CIC rep confirmed that file has been transferred to Colombo on Mar 12, (he said can take weeks to complete transfer) - No AOR yet

1. Can anyone please shred some thoughts on when can he expect a AOR from Colombo
2. What is the average time-frame so far to get MR from Colombo (after AOR)
3. Where would the PPR come from, Will he need to send his passport to Colombo (after medicals etc)

I am October Applicant and my VO is in colombo ,I had got my first AOR on feb 16,2015 and again got one more AOR with Procedural fairness letter on march 17th.I have submitted all the docs that they asked and it's been almost 1 month since then no update from them.

why was that procedural fairness letter for. Please clarify.

just check my timeline.
There is no specific time period for anything. It varies from case to case.
some of the candidates with my timeline are waiting for ppr. But I haven't received even medical yet.
Be patient.

Hey Thank you for the input, On a side note, at least you got an AOR which is good news, my family member hasn't even seen AOR yet. We just know based on the information from CIC agent.

So I guess, its a long wait - Patience Recognition (PR)

I raised a cse to CIO in December to know the status of my application and they replied in February saying that my file had been transferred to cvo. Then I raised a cse to cvo and they replied in a week saying that they hsve my file and then they sent AOR as well. Do I would suggest you to raise a cse to cvo.
many of the visa offices don't send AOR.

I believe ppr comes from ndvo. For that it will take some more time than usual.

Hi friends !! Any Sep-Oct applicant who recieved AOR in Feb still waiting for M R or I am the only one?!?!?! The wait is frustrating & killing all the more when you have been transferred to Colombo for faster processing and you notice people with NDVO ALREADY CROSSED major milestones.... Please post if anybody sailing in the same boat.... .
